Well the mouse king had certainly made a few pit stops over the last several days that he’d been basically entirely unheard from. It wasn’t as though getting lost on adventures was something uncharacteristic for the mouse, but it didn’t make things any less difficult he imagined for his queen or his court. Last few days. Honestly Mickey wasn’t one hundred percent sure how long he’d been gone. That happened when you were traveling to different worlds with different rules and times of day. Time and time again he’d shown up, though whatever he was meant to find was not making itself known.
He’d certainly come across some very concerning things in his travels, all things he recorded in leather bound book with his royal seal of course all for Jiminy to sort out later. Still. Something had torn at him…almost ripped him from his study. He couldn’t help but feel that it had something to deal with Terra…or what was wearing Terra’s face. Not once had the king seen or heard a thing about him since the day he’d seen him near the MCP in Hallow Bastion. Mickey was spending an amount of time in the Dark Corridors lately that for anyone else would be concerning and in a lot of cases even deadly. The dark didn’t just heed him it entirely shied away from him even when there was uncertainty in his heart for no matter how many questions the king might have had, he would never question his own allegiance. He could not be convinced to claim something he did not want.
Another passage made itself known and he expected it would bring him somewhere in the deeper reaches like the Pride Lands, the king was alarmed to find that he was entirely wrong. The Corridor sucked him out into the pungent air, and deposited him like a lump of refused into the middle of what was busy enough to be a market square. All around him were wide eyes and tall humans. Leon or Yuffie looked like people who could pass here, but there was no question that Mickey was entirely out of place. The buildings and the street rows, everything was narrowed and perfectly straight with a gritty detail that he wouldn’t even begin to know how to describe. Many people were clearly up to their work here with…whatever it was they were doing. Some of them even put down what they were doing and opted for their weapons. Mickey went rigid his eyes narrowing before falling down upon himself. He was wearing the Nobody cloak. He’d forgotten that he decided to don it a little earlier. Typically he wouldn’t think of it, but he had a feeling that he was going to need it later. He’d just come tearing into an unknown world from a different realm dressed in a sinister looking cloak with probably what looked to these people like the biggest roundest and strangest head and ears they’d ever seen. Those with weapons were closing in.
He put his large gloved hands out in front of him. ”W, wait, hold on.” he began to protest, a shaky attempt at an explanation at best and right on cue before he could calm himself, the magnificent shimmer of gold from his keyblade emerged before him to making his attempt to confirm that he was there in peace an entire failure. That was definitely the gamble with intruding on other worlds.

The people were clearly frightened as many ran away from the sinister looking mouse monster as guards had readied their weapons to defend the people from this thing. It talking meant it was some sort of demon which is what most assumed as they were about to charge at the monster looking thing. James had been in the area and after all that he had done for Copia they knew very well who he was at this point. James had sensed the arrival of that creature then thought it was one of those Heartless that Yuffie had told him about but as Mickey tried to defend himself with his keyblade James felt the strong presence that was the keyblade. It was a huge power that surged through James' mind and with Koa's will he had teleported from his current spot away from the scene and then in front of Mickey with his hands outstretched. "Leave him alone! This creature is not our enemy!" James said protecting the mouse like creature.
The guards knew very well who James was and they knew that this was James Cabuelo aka the Hero of Copia and the Chosen of the Goddess of Light Koa'. "Are you sure? That creature appeared from a dark portal like many demons before it." One of the guards argued that fact. People whispered to each-other about who that boy was and why he was protecting this monster. "I am sure. Koa' sensed no evil intent coming from him." The guards then put their weapons away then looked back to the crowd of people and spoke. "You heard him people! I suggest you all disperse and go back to what you were doing! The Chosen of Light has spoken!" At first the people didn't disperse and still felt scared but when they were confirmed that this boy was in fact the chosen they tried to adjust as they all put away their weapons and went on with their lives.
The guards nodded at James and went back to their duties. "Even if this creature is not evil do still be careful Chosen." The guard had said to James before going back to his duties. James nodded back and then lowered his arms. "Are you alright?" James had asked after turning around to see Mickey who was only slightly shorter than James since he looked to be a child even though he was 18. "I'm sorry about all that. The people of Copia are a little on edge after witnessing strange black monsters appearing all of sudden. They probably thought you were one." James would look over to see the mouse creature that was Mickey and noticed his weapon. "Is that one of those Keyblades?" James had asked curiously. "When I was taken from Copia a woman named Yuffie told me a lot of things about that and these strange creatures called Heartless." James said noticing Mickey perking up hearing her name. "I was in this strange place called Radiant Garden during that time but she helped me get back home." James then chuckled noticing he forgot to introduce himself. "My name is James Cabuelo and you are?" James asked in curiosity before holding out his hand for a handshake.

Well he couldn’t get the blade to leave his side so the best the king could do was press it to his other hand and hold it before him in a guard-like fashion, bracing himself for whatever hit was about to smash down toward him. He was not about to start swinging at innocent people in a crowded place even if that meant putting his own life at risk. Attacking the innocent to protect himself was not and would never be Mickey’s way. To his surprise the hit he’d been bracing for never came. Instead came the exasperated voice of a boy. Its tone and its determination had that precious memory invoking quality to it, but Mickey didn’t even have to look to know. It wasn’t who he was looking for. It wasn’t any of them actually. Why would it be? This world…was entirely new, he realized sparing a couple of glances around himself with the time granted from the altercation before him.
Who was Koa’? Why had the guard just announced this boy ‘the chosen of the light.’ It wasn’t exactly the same in wording but Mickey knew someone else who shared such a title. Mickey’s large round ears lowered slightly in the most animal-like behavior he’d exhibited sense his arrival. The boy turned toward him and Mickey’s eyes rose to meet the boy’s. There it was, the unmistakable twinkle of light and of destiny…but there was something else. Something Mickey didn’t recognize. Maybe it was something to do with this world…this world that was evidently also infected by the Heartless. The mouse’s expression saddened at the news. That must have been why it was so easy for him to accidentally slip into this world through the corridor.
Though it was lowered, Mickey realized that his keyblade was still glimmering at his side. He realized it because the boy asked about it. With a startled look Mickey called it away, his heart no longer hammering to the calls of danger around him. There were still several weary eyes on them but none were particularly hostile…yet. The mouse king had even been about to confirm that the boy was correct and ask how he knew about the keyblade, but then the boy, James as he would come to introduce himself, added that he knew about them through Yuffie from Radiant Garden. How…had he gotten there? Why did these folks call this boy ‘The Chosen?’ The mouse took the boy’s hand in one large white gloved hand of his own and gave a surprisingly regal shake. ”The name’s ‘Mickey Mouse.’ Just call me ‘Mickey.’ He’d given a genuine smile but started a bit apparently witnessing something behind the boy’s shoulder. That something being the same guard that had come over before starting toward them before promptly realizing that this had only been a handshake and no one was hurting anybody. The citizens of ‘Copia’ were on edge. ”I could see why they're on edge. There are SO many people gathered in this one place. An attack from the Heartless would do a lotta damage here.” He added sadly, his eyes finding those of a curious little girl that had been eyeing the both of them. He gave a soft chuckle and light wave toward her and she brightened almost instantly.

(Hey man I'm sorry for cutting this thread so short but with the Aqua player seemingly not around anymore I don't really see a point to continue this thread.)
