[attr="class","BOXU"] I KNOW PLACES WE WON'T BE FOUND Strelitzia stepped out from the Corridor of Light into what seemed to be like a town square? She wasn't entirely sure what to make of things. After leaving the Dwarf Woodlands, she had attempted to return to Daybreak Town, but couldn't find the way back. It was like the town was no longer there at all. Instead this place seemed to be the easiest one to find. She could, of course, go back to Dwarf Woodlands, but that didn't help her further either.
The girl looked sad around at the few people present. This town seemed to have a few districts, but she couldn't make much sense of it all. The Keyblade in her hand vanished as she walked away from the gate that was behind her. Nobody seemed to have either noticed her entrance from a glowing portal or just didn't find it odd, she didn't really know which it was. But there weren't a lot of people there. She saw two moving down from a staircase, talking. Then there was a woman at the front of some kind of shop? There were also a few others while she climbed the stairs up and went past the other two. At the top she looked up at the shop in front of her.
Trying to door it appeared the place was closed. Looking at the sky Strelitzia guessed it was night time here. She stepped down and sat on the staircase while thinking. Looking carefully around, she wondered where her Chirithy had gone, but she guessed it was alright. The Dream Eater tended to wander around and investigating places, so likely it would return with information. She tried to put up a bit of a smile, but still wondered where everyone had gone. | Wishes and dreams I want to come true. The feelings I wish I could tell you. A miracle created from the things I've always believed is connected to the future. Always, always I want you to watch over me, my dear friend. |
● Make my wish come true... let darkness slip aside Lightning had returned to Traverse Town on her way home. It had been a curious journey, but she had found what it was she sought. It was a fragment, but she had hoped the artefact shard would be a step into finding the other pieces of this gate key. Without it the door to her world would remain open to this darkness. The Valkyrie had settled into her role as Guardian. To think she had to take this mantle up again, but she was of the few of her world who could use the magicks from the old world. She still had an Eidolon at her side who gently whispered to her, helping her along this treacherous journey. She was thankful for him and of all the friends she had made along the way. The woman had been standing at the town’s entrance, holding the shard in hand. Shaking her head she would move to press the shard into her chest, the glowing object lighting up before fading into nothingness. The artefacts were part of the Historia Crux as much as she was.
Her attention was drawn from her drifting thoughts as a familiar looking portal began to manifest. At first she had mistook it for the Gates so her heart would sink. The idea of one opening up in this gentle place was a treacherous thought that chilled her blood. She exhaled the breath she did not know she was holding as she could not hear the etchings of time carving through the Void Beyond. She had never been so relieved to see a Corridor of Light than she was now. Why? Well usually where a Corridor of Light was the Darkness soon followed. It was an expectation she has held during her journey. Even when she came upon the Warrior of Light he had been nearly consumed by the shades that now tried to rend the world twain. She watched as the girl walked off, the knight tucking away to consider her destination. She had come here to reach her next destination with ease. Traverse Town was the center of everything after all. No matter where you were in the worlds you could always find your way back here. It was like a sign was lit up in the darkness calling for the lost souls of the Void.
Lightning headed off to find something to eat. It wasn’t but a few moments later she would notice the girl was looking around. She had been idly following a known path, but it seemed the girl wandered it the same. Coming to a stop the soldier would watch as she searched about for an open shop. Knowing what shops were opened at what times was difficult. Traverse Town had an everlasting night only penetrated by the lights of the shops and homes. She looked away and chuckled. It seems she had fallen into a pace with this place. She knew the measured beats of its heart. This was a second home for her. After all it had been the first place she came after entering the Crux in search of the opened gate singing somewhere far at the end of time.
“If you’re looking for a place to eat, you won’t find one in the First District open at this time.” Lightning’s voice was gentle, hardly admonishing her for her consideration. It was hard to tell if this town wasn’t part of you in some way. “If you are looking for some activity, I’d try the Fifth District. There is a festival today as well.” She had passed the flyer on the way here.
She had never been a big purveyor of festivals or faires, but ever since Yusnaan, well she supposed they could be fun if they weren't a matter of life and death.
