Adventure in the Great Wide Somewhere Maybe there are some good books here//---//---//
The sun was bright and the birds sang cheerfully in the gardens as Belle wandered the still-quiet streets of Radiant Gardens. It was indeed morning but it seemed not many people were out and about just yet. This would not have been a problem for Belle, as she was used to making her way through the market back home and that was while fully preoccupied with a book. It was early enough that there were not many people up yet, but the vendors were, and the bookkeeper's place too. This was one of the main reasons Belle had detoured to this world instead of heading straight home to the castle. She wanted to pick out a couple of new books (or really good old ones) to share with Beast. He enjoyed their reading sessions, or more to the point, story time. Belle loved their shared affinity for books and if the opportunity arose to collect new books then why not?
These were precious moments they shared, when Beast was not being plagued by distress or worry over things, especially the fact that she stayed with him. It was not that he did not want her around, but it seemed to stem from a lack of self-confidence and the ever-present nagging doubt that she could really want to be with him, that she could love him as he is, not minding his temper when it flared or when he confessed that he didn't think anyone could truly love him. She knew in her heart that she loved him, and she knew he knew this and shared mutual feelings; things just took time, that's all.
Belle paused at a vendor stall, poring over a couple of intriguing-looking times. Perhaps she might also add these to the collection in the library...

The beautifully quaint Radiant Garden, the early mornings were always peaceful, so few people out and about, a light haze in the air illuminated by the bright sunrise, wildlife putting on the greatest of shows. ... Of course, whenever this mechanic was involved, that peace was very short-lived. The silence in the streets was cut and drowned out by the sound of a very agitated moogle, alongside the sounds of things hitting walls. Within the next instant, a girl burst through the door to a shop, various knick-knacks and scrap metal bits being thrown out through the door above her as she attempted to duck under the volley of merchandise aimed at her. She hurried out into the street, thankfully outside the range of items being thrown as the door slowly shut itself once more. Her only response upon making it to safety was to turn towards the door and stick her tongue out rather childishly."Nnnn! Hahaha, E feh ykyeh, bivvpymm!"... Well, if the birds weren't flying off for the hills yet, they were now! The loud interruptions finally subsided, and the mechanic girl brushed herself off, observing her new purchase with her goggles down her over eyes. To most people it probably looked like junk. Just some kind of brass bolt with a washer on it. But to her, it was vital to her next project! She could only whistle when observing this scrap part."Really beautiful! You'll fit perfectly!"The noisy Al bhed girl pocketed the part and took out a list, running a finger across it to check what was still remaining. Most probably wouldn't have known it was a shopping list, if not for her verbal assertions regarding the paper."Bolt...Check, copper wire, check. What's next...Hrmmm, "The Comprehensive History of Radiant Garden, Volumes one through five"...? I'm not much of a reader, but if it'll get my studies closer, I consider that a win!"She strolled down the street towards the self-same book vendor Belle was currently purchasing from. There was honestly no telling if the books she were looking for would even be here, chances are they were in that Merlin guy's shop... Well, it didn't matter. She had a task to complete, and wasn't gonna give up until it was done! She stopped next to Belle, grinning and giving a friendly wave."Morning! Oh, I've not seen you around here before... You must be new! Or maybe... I'm too new to recognize a veteran visitor?!"She gasped, clearly...Very easily entertained, if just seeing a new person was enough to cause this excitement effect. She probably looked very strange to Belle, the large red and brass goggles placed over her eyes made them look...Much bigger than they actually were. She walked a half circle around Belle, observing the princess and trying to figure on whether or not the scatterbrained mechanic had met this person before... She ultimately concluded that no - She hadn't. She stuck a hand out, offering a friendly handshake!"My name's Ayami! Professional Mechanic at your service! Well, right now I'm not doing any work... B-But I will be! And who might you be, stranger? Do you live here?"She gasped once more in silent amazement before continuing her overly cheerful small talk"Or are you...A visitor from another world?! Oh, oh! I am too if so! What's your home like?! Is it nice? Is it cool?!"... This girl certainly was strange...--- Current Outfit: Formal GreenBelle
