The Ascian of the God Zodiac had been traveling the stars, his essence absorbing all the ether he could gather, but it still wasn't enough. His soul and essence had been shattered, leaving him as a shadow of his former self, many of his powers having left him. The Ancient being was very irritated with this and his mood showed this. Most of his face as covered by his mask, but he was gritting his teeth in anger, hands curled into fists as he looked over the landscape in front of him. It was snowing, the whole land covered in snow and ice. He was floating above a mountain, watching the town in the distance and seeming to look for any sources of energy he could use in his state. “Tsk.. If Elidibus could see me now, he would surely laugh at my condition. The ether of these creatures is worth almost nothing. Just a small fragment of what I need. Damn those creatures of the light.”, he murmured to himself in the language of his people. He was very upset, but Lahabrea knew he would get his revenge. He was almost certain that Zodiac had saved him from complete destruction and send him into the stars for a bigger quest he had to finish. Far away from his home, even though he did not like this at all. Maybe this could be his chance to get the energy he needed to destroy the keepers of light in his home world and restore his world. His real home... the home of his comrades. He levitated to the ground, feet touching the ice top of the mountain now, though he didn't feel any of the cold winds up there.

The air was bitter cold, the winds harsh and whistling. The snow made not a single sound, and yet... Despite this frigid world that seemed incapable of blooming flowers, several dandelion puffs flew past Lahabrea. Seeds carried away by the wind into the sky beyond. Without even giving him time to react to what had occured behind him, a voice spoke up, it's owner somehow having avoided revealing their presence up until now."Well now! Lookie what we have here. Quite a view isn't it?"He stepped forward, walking along the mountain's cliff below the floating Lahabrea. He raised his arms, creating a "picture frame" with his fingers, tilting his hands to get a good view of the little city on the horizon."Wow, I've certainly got a lot of fans. Seems like everyone's doing the whole "Ominous Black Cloak" style these days! Buuut what can I say? I'm a real trend setter."He chuckled in a way that was...A terrifying mixture of lightheartedness and sinister intent underneath. He looked up to Lahabrea, a grin hidden behind the dark veil concealing his face."So! Given how you're up here staring down at little ol' Arendelle, I'm guessing you're after something, am I right? I mean c'mon! Brooding cloaked figures don't monologue while staring at a target if they're just there to scare people. Well, good news for YOU if so! 'Cause this guy is after something of his own! I think we can come to an agreement, don't you?"He pointed a thumb at his chest after the words "this guy!" were spoken, he was clearly not taking this completely seriously, and yet... ... One could tell even through that clown guise of his that he was entirely serious. Whatever he intended, it might have very well put Arendelle in some measure of risk.--- Lahabrea

The Ascian had not expected for someone to join him on this mountain so soon. The older being had been thinking of ways to get what he desired, when a strong source of ether got his attention, the masked man turning his head a little in the direction he had sensed the Master coming from, even before he started talking to him. This presence was quiet intriguing. It was old, but not as old as him. It was made up of mortal components, but something just didn't sit right with the Ascian about it. It seemed this being had stepped over the line between mortality and immortality? It was hard to analyze, even for him. To surprise him even more, the being didn't disturb him to pick a fight, but to bargain? The man turned to face the other completely, whilst he eyed the other how it seemed. “Asking to bargain with an Ascian? You must be lacking the knowledge of who you speak to. But... I am listening.”A small smirk spread on his face, the man moving up his metallic-clawed finger and scratching his chin as he thought about what he saw. “Your presence and ether is structured in fascinating ways. What does a being like you desire of this frozen star? The same as me, perhaps?”He crossed his arms now, shaking his head a little. (sorry, I am a little bleeh with writing today XD)

[googlefont="Comfortaa"] ♡ Oh, he'd noticed it too, really. A peculiar form of aether that drew him here. He could check on his surrogate daughter later, he doubted she was really getting up to anything interesting in the meantime. There was Lahabrea's aether, of course. So that made things simpler, which also told Emet-Selch that there may have been a chance this other aether wouldn't be around much longer. Well, this of course, assumed that Lahabrea didn't manage to get himself killed again. They could finally make use of his unique talent, well, unique in that three of them had it, and while Emet-Selch could do without the rest, that one talent made the Angel of Truth at least want to make sure Lahabrea didn't die yet. He'd be lying as well if this aether didn't intrigue him as well. It wasn't Elidibus' but it felt... It felt complete. A whole existence, unsundered and unmarred. He didn't want to hope. He had dreamed, when he slept, of other survivors. Of other Unbroken, of his people. But it was there, that silent, unspoken prayer to Zodiark that another of their kind had been found. Something to ease the anguish in his breast, if only slightly, if only temporarily. But it had been so long, so very long, since he had any hope of such. He would have come anyway, even if Lahabrea hadn't been there, and so he followed that aether through the void, and found himself in Arendelle Of course, he wasn't going to just poof in the midst of them, that was just a tad too noisy, and he wanted to observe for a little bit. So instead, he arrived in the guise of the glorious shoebill, its regal posture evident even in the snowy lands, and from a distance. It watched. It was also quickly disappointed. When one attempts to strike a bargain, Lahabrea, one does not imply that they are going to regret it! Really, it just broke Emet's heart, truly, it did. Once the greatest orator of them all, able to convince one of anything, including summoning their Mighty Master, now reduced to speaking with this... and now that he looked at the other, really, that robe was so much plainer than theirs. Then again, the Ascian style came later. So instead of remaining docile, he simply decided to observe more up close, the shoebill taking flight with a few noble flaps. It closed the distance, gracefully landing on top of its peer's head, talons digging into Lahabrea's hood as it perched itself comfortably. With that, it simply turned to stare at the Master of Masters, unblinking. Unafraid. None would intimidate the shoebill.

"Yeah, I get that a lot."He laughed to himself, continuing to answer the Ascian's many questions:"The same thing? Well, that remains to be seen, doesn't it?"He stepped forward towards the edge of the cliff, nodding his head slowly."It's simple, really! I think we can both mutually benefit from it; you're after this "ether" stuff right? Right!"He would snap his finger, a small flame dancing on the tip of his gloved finger, the fire seemingly not affecting him whatsoever. He gently blew on it, causing it not to go out, but to float towards Lahabrea, dying out seconds before reaching the being."So! Here's the deal: I help you go down there and get what YOU'RE after, and then once you're in good, YOU provide a distraction for me so that I can slip silently into the castle!"He made a walking motion with his fingers as he spoke of the plans"I've got a lot of rabid fans, I can't let them know I'm here, you know, paparazzi and all, always wanting to take photographs."Suddenly the distinct sound of a camera shutter was heard despite there being no source, the master flipped his hand about until out of thin air, a photograph was there where there had been none before. He gave it to the Ascian. It was... A photo of the Master with his arm around Lahabrea's shoulder, his free hand making a peace sign."You can keep that, no strings attached!"He grinned devilishly as he watched this seemingly regular shoebill fly over and perch itself on top of the Ascian's head. He didn't act as though he was aware, or that he even paid it much mind, rather... He played up his usual jester-like persona, letting out a faux gasp as Emet landed."You didn't TELL ME you brought friends! Why, I'm shocked! SHOCKED I SAY!"He turned his back to Lahabrea, childishly crossing his arms in silence for just long enough to make it awkward, before he turned around and spoke:"Welllll, I can forgive you just this once! After all, it's not every day we get a S p e c i a l G u e s t ."He looked directly at the shoebill, though Emet tried to hide, it was clear that no ordinary bird would approach a being like Lahabrea - Much less one like the Master."But that's enough rough housing around. You go along with this deal and you'll get ALLLL the ether you want. And me? Well, I'm going to go find out which star shines the brightest."He would create small ice effigies of two princesses. His eyes gazing to the pair from beneath the dark shroud of his coat."You get the picture?"--- Lahabrea Emet-Selch

Lahabrea watched the man with a certain interest, seeming to go through the options of what this being was made off. His energy was rather complex, but after listening to him for a while and observing him, the Ascian would raise an eyebrow under his mask. This creature was rather interesting, but this was not an Ascian. It was a disappointment. He would have surely helped one of his kind, but this creature was an other incomplete one. However, his power could be of great value if used for himself, of course. The Ascian felt an other strong ether enter this world and immediately he could identify it…. By Zodiac, this must be a bad joke. Of all of his remaining brothers, it had to be the most annoying. Emet Selch… they had not been on good terms before his death, so seeing him here was not really lifting his mood much. Of course, he didn’t show any signs of surprise in front of the Master, not even flinching when Emet decided to use his shaped form to sit on his head. He would make certain the other wouldn’t do that again, later. He waited till the Master was finished with this silly act of his, before Lahabrea would decide to speak again. “All the ether I want, he says…”Lahabrea started to laugh, putting a hand on his chest. “You speak of something you know nothing about. For a moment I actually thought you could be of interest, but it seems I was wrong.”
The Ascian moved up his arm offering a more comfortable place to Emet to sit on. “you are an incomplete one, like all the other mortals. It’s a shame... Let me enlighten you, of what you lack.”A grin formed on his face now, the Ascian seeming to enjoy to tell humans how much of a failure they are. “The amount of ether I desire is much more than you could ever give me. One city isn’t enough to satisfy my needs. Those lights you speak of however… is their destruction your desire? Or is it something… more interesting?” Emet-Selch Master of Masters
