Hammerhead was slowly getting repairs as a few folks worked on the buildings. Crouched down by his remodeling station, Cid was preparing it in place. Having moved the station to Hammerhead, the old mechanic was fixing it in place while he had taken some of it apart for easier moving it. With the eternal night gone, the city was coming slowly back to life and he preferred to return to Hammerhead. Considering he couldn't move back and forth and the entire machine would just be taking space in the plaza, he was moving it with help from Cindy and Talcott.
Having send Talcott back again to get more parts of the machine, Cid was now putting the thing back together in case some of the Glaives returned and wanted to keep using it. It wasn't like he would have much to do anyway. Cindy had taken over most of the work for quite a time, so he figured he could keep himself busy with these sorts of things. "Wonder what them Glaives are doing right now," he said to himself as he got off the ground with some minor difficulty, "probably back in the Crown City. The daemons should be gone, so perhaps that city'll come back to life as well." His eyes scanning the rest of the device, he slowly nodded to himself.
The remodeling station was set at the side of the garage. Turning towards the front Cid slowly walked there to check the road, but there wasn't exactly a sign of Talcott just yet. Not that he expected him back so soon, it was a long way to Lestallum from there and they had to move the parts to the truck. The place had been a post for daemon hunters for a time, so there was already a lot repaired since the long night started, but there had been some uncertainty if the fences and everything were still needed. Having heard of some odd fiends appearing, some felt they should remain.
Looking over the gas station and the shop, Cid slowly came towards his chair and sat down. Slowly relaxing he figured he could take a break while he waited. Not like he was able to do much at this point, he was already happy he could continue to work despite everything that had happened. Honestly, he hoped the sightings brought to Takka had been false and there weren't new fiends appearing. Just the usual hunt was fine. Keeps the hunters busy.
