The sound of explosions, water splashing and screaming people, just like the scent of gunpowder in his nose was still very fresh through all of his senses. He had no idea, how someone could have so much bad luck, like him.. WHY?! He had been thrown around by a portal again and found himself having crashed into the middle of nowhere in an ocean. He was a good swimmer.. lets thank the twelve for that, but he had never reached the shore of a nearby island, but was instead picked up by a group of idiots with guns, that founded him way to interesting to just let him go. Chronos had the bad feeling they didn't just lock him up under the ship, just so he could get more.. ehem.. comfortable for now till they arrived at their destination. They had taken his guns from him and all his other things, the man screaming and kicking at them when they dared to touch his beloved weapon. NO ONE was allowed to touch it, without permission, after all! One of them ended up with a big bite mark on their arm for that though. HAH! Well, he had been on the ship for a little while, when hell broke lose outside. It seemed someone had attacked those people and their vehicle and Chronos was lucky to sneak the keys from the distracted idiot, that should watch over him. Knocking him out and getting his stuff back was easy, but the Mi'qote had no choice but to jump from the ship, that was blowing up behind him shortly after. That is why gunpowder-rooms should be more secure.. but hardly done, with only wood surrounding it and all. Well, surviving that was great and all, but now there was no island nearby anymore and he really found himself in the middle of nowhere, without a way out again. He was sitting on plank, using a broken piece of wood to move though the sea, the man's mood more than just sour. “How come I am always the one getting into trouble? Okey, the man that owned that ship had a bad day as well... Did he even survive that? Eh... must be Karma that hit him for taking my stuff away.”He growled, looking at his tools and the weapon strapped on his back. Good thing they were mostly waterproof. Only a few of his little toys broke from all the water, but he could easily fix that once he can get his hands on some parts. “Urg... GET ME OUR OF HERE!”

Davy Jones glared across the bow of his ship intently towards the horizon-line as if there was something to see lingering there... The captain of the Ghost-ship required new bodies, new forsaken souls for him to command... After having been revived by the goddess Calypso, he had been slowly reforming his crew bit-by-bit, impressing the poor, the weak, sickly and... frankly those that didn't have much choice in the matter. ONE-HUNDRED YEARS before the mast... That was the deal before and that's what it was now... Those that feared death would be allowed to escape it for a time aboard the Flying Dutchman and those that did not...?
...The sank into the depths of the sea, in possession of Davy Jones one way or another.
"PREPARE TO DIVE-AH!" The captain commanded, raising his lobster-claw HIGH into the air to signal his order! As if his command persuaded even the supernatural, the ship began to dip DOWN into the ocean upon which it once floated, the water SPLITTING in two before them as the crocodile-nose of the haunted ship cut down into the water below... before the ocean had completely submerged it all beneath it's insatiable waves...
___
*BWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOSH!*
Beside an unsuspecting pirate vessel the Flying Dutchman EXPLODED from the salt, BLOWING OCEAN WATER THIS WAY AND THAT with monstrous abomination of both sea and human-life manning the supernaturally functional cannons with ocean-water still spilling out of the barrels, the twisted crew of unnatural beings leveled their weapons..
"FIRE!!!" Davy Jones commanded... and so... they did... Within only a few minutes the Dutchman had completely OBLITERATED the enemy vessel, only large pieces of deck and wood floating upon it's top remained... among the dead/dying crew... All but one, it seemed... Davy Jones sent his men to collect those that had survived the initial assault, the captain himself disappearing into the bowels of his ship... One creature, a man with an eel sprouting from his chest where his head SHOULD have been YANKED Chronos from his place upon the deck by his knees, an axe-blade resting against his throat! Should he choose NOT to put up a fight, he would only one of 4 survivors the amalgamation-crew had discovered, the rest simply been left floating in the water... useless Davy Jones...
*THUNK... THUNK...... ....THUNK.....*
...An Octopus-headed... thing stabbed what appeared to be a peg-like leg into the broken hull-deck as he walked, surveying the survivors of the carnage silently... drinking in their fear as they looked upon him... It was amusing... satisfying almost how they reviled his appearance, looking upon him like the monster he was... As much as he felt the compulsion to laugh, the captain instead kept a stony face... leveling his own before Chronos'...
"Do you fear death...?" He asked, his voice low as he held a pipe to his lips...

Well, dang.. of course things get worse. Not only was he in the middle of nowhere, NO. A freaking ship suddenly appeared out of the ocean with a very.. questionable crew on it. Voidsend maybe? They sure are ugly as those things... He was grabbed by a guy with a freak'n eal as a head! A EAL! He didn't really have much time to complain and was dragged on the ship with a few of the remaining people from the crew of the ship he had been dragged on not long ago. Seeing the state of the ship and the crew didn't make him feel any comfortable at all. Especially with that axe on his throat. What the hell was going on here? A door opened and a man, or what ever that things used to be, stepped outside, the remains of the crew of the ship he was on seeming to quiver in fear of this beast. It seemed they knew who he was... well, great. That didn't help him at all right now, unless they got their mouths open, which was not going to happen any time soon, judging by the look on their faces. The strange man with his tentacles mover over to him, looking into his eyes as he moved down and.. urgg that smell. He had the feeling his nose was going to die on him right there and now. That smell of old fish and saltwater... urks. “That's.. a strange question to ask, Mister Tentacles.”, he murmured, raising an eyebrow at the man. It was in that moment that he felt this strange sensation of his mind being dragged away, eyes becoming dull for a second before Davy Jones, the Mi'qote being dragged away by the echo and experiencing many fragments of the man's life. Wow.... this guy... really had a shitty life. He returned shortly after, blinking away the dizziness, frowning even when he returned his attention back to the creature that once used to be a normal human. “... wow... I.... you really have a terrible life, don't you? If you can call that living, I mean...”
His ears folded back slightly.

Davy Jones said nothing as he put his lips around the mouth-piece of the pipe, taking a NICE LONG smoke as his tentacles writhed and slithered absently along his chest... Chronos seemed quite arrogant for someone with an axe against his throat and a monster in his face... someone that didn't fear death perhaps...? A massive cloud of ancient tobacco smoke blue out of the single-nostril that hung down beside Davy Jones' cheek bone, the octopus man merely humming softly in acknowledgement of the man's statement... His head nods lightly, his lips curling into a cruel and dark smile as he withdrew the pipe from his lips.
Quicker than a Mako-shark, Davy Jones lifted his massive lobster-claw arm and TOOK Chronos' neck within it's massive, powerful pincers, a claw strong enough to shatter finely tempered English steel and easily able to catch swords in full swing! Should he catch the small man in his grip, Davy Jones would rise to his full, height, pulling his prisoner up with him so that they were still eye-level, the captain raising an eyebrow at him curiously... if his hairless face was capable of such a motion.
"Do you not... fear death...?" He asked, the other prisoners squirming and shaking in their spots!
What an interestingly suicidal man he was, talking to the personification of the sea like this... What could he possibly think talking to him, his captor, like this would accomplish besides simply being gutted and thrown into the ocean for the sharks? What could possibly have gone through his mind to justify this?

The fragments Chronos had seen were unclear at many points, but he could make out the strongest memories. This man had fallen in love and was punished for betraying her.. He is bond to this ship and gave his heart away. He also had seen a very recent memory of a man this creature had made a deal with and was holding great resentment to. He had made put the name.. Maybe this could help him get out of this situation. Things were getting a little to.. Touchy for his taste. First this man blew that disgusting smoke in his face and than he just grabbed his neck, squeezing his air pipes and pulling him up to eyelevel, asking him the question again. He wheeze, grabbing the claw around his neck, trying to loosen it somehow, but dang… that man had a strong grip with that disgusting thing!
The mi’qote stared into his eyes, trying to speak through the grip around his throat. “.. Grch… I… don’t.. Fear You…” he took a moment than, squeezing his eyes shut for a moment to gather his words. “But… who doesn’t.. Fear death? Do you not…?”
He tried to smile, even with the situation looking grim for him at the moment. It wasn’t the first time he was in big trouble for being at the wrong place at the wrong time. He wheeze again, trying to breath.
“… krch… kr… Does the name… Jack Sparrow.. Mean anything to you? You are looking.. For him… don’t you?” he had seen that this man was a sore spot with Davy Jones. Maybe this could save his tail? His fur stood up, tail having fluffed from the situation he was in, ears folded back on his head. The pain from the string grip was taking his words away from him and he couldn’t continue with his air leaving him more and more. He really hoped that this was enough for the creature not to snap his neck in two.

What a stupid boy... Even with a claw around his throat and an axe-blade to the back of his head, he still insisted on throwing around insults... Well, if he wished not to live than Davy Jones need not waste his time here a moment longer. There were three others here who would happily join his crew for another 100 years after seeing this one fall prey to the sea. What was one more soul to float in the ocean's embrace for eternity? The cursed pirate glanced up at the crew-member standing behind Chronos, locking eyes with the figure before letting go of his grip upon the man's neck... Instantly, the boy would then feel a hand upon his shoulder, forcing him back down on his knees!
"To the depths." He commanded, stepping back gently taking the end of his pipe between his lips, taking another suck! Quickly, the crewman raised his axe over his head... and it was then the man decided to try and save his skin, spouting off something about a very certain pirate... A pirate with which Davy Jones had a bone to pick... the Pirate that had killed him all those years ago...
"HALT!" He demanded as the crewman's arm came down, his axe freezing only an INCH from Ti'era's neck! Davy Jones' beard writhed and shifted rapidly as if to express his state of mind, the octopus-headed pirate's eyes like that of a storm on the horizon... He stepped in close once again, his peg-like leg STABBING into the floating bulk-head they all stood upon, the captain lowering himself down close once more so that their faces were level... Slowly, without a word, his tentacles reached out for Chronos' neck, wrapping around it the way many multiple snakes might constrict it's prey, the slimy, yet sticky appendages locking in TIGHT around his throat... but not so tightly as to suffocate him... Just enough to snap his neck if he kept toying with him...
"Sparrow...? What do you know of him, boy?" He questioned, neither answering nor acknowledging Chronos' request. Well... perhaps not with words. The fact he had spared his life for another moment said enough to indicate he was interested. Jack Sparrow... That damned pirate! If he was still alive, he would drag him down to the locker himself! Such a sentiment was reflected in how his tentacles slithered, tightened and loosened around Chronos' throat.
"Speak, or there'll be the devil to pay!"

The miqote really has gotten himself into a bad situation this time. These people wouldn’t care one bit if he would die and it showed by the reaction of the man and the guy that held the axe. The echo could save people from death, but would it work so far away from home? Highly doubtable.. He would lose his head and his adventure would come to an end here and now! But becoming the toy of a slimy creature like him…? No thanks.
He was forced to his knees, the axe coming down behind him, Chronos squeezing his eyes shut l, expecting the short pain and his death in a way, already calling his prayers to Hyadelin to save his soul, when he heard the captain scream to stop. He opened his eyes immediately again, looking up at Jones, to see him move closer again and grab his neck once more, this time with those.. Disgusting, slimy tentacles. Yuck… but he kept any arguments to himself, his situation still able to go to hell, if he wasn’t careful what he answered now. He didn’t move, only looking at the man that threatened him still. He took a deep breath, as much as he could right now with that moving stuff around his neck.
“I… I know you two have a deal… and I know he betrayed you. He is still alive, searching for the ship you have gotten him.” He gulped, squeezing his eyes shut for a moment, when those tentacles pressed on his neck for a moment. “I can… find him for you. Give you a lead to where he is heading off to, so you can catch up…” Chronos didn’t know if he could really be able to pull it off, but maybe offering it to this scoundrel could be enough for him to have some worth in the man’s eyes. At least for now. Once he is away from that damn guy with the axe above his head, he could think of a way out of here and get his weapons back.
