a falling star fell from your heart. If she ever did become a parent, she figured that she had enough practice in looking after Marlene and Denzel. The truth was, while she had no problem doing so, especially as they were as much family to her than any blood could create, she did question if she was exactly the best representation when it came to a mother. As she held a bag in her arms, looking around briefly, she'd note a older female moving passed, a blank expression crossing her face as she seemed almost the picture image of motherhood.
Her hand held by a boy, the duo would continue on the path forwards, passing by 7th heaven with no more than a passing glance as Tifa would simply release a breath. Then again, what did a standard mother look like anyway? She imagined her own mother might come to mind, but even then, she hadn't exactly..well..maybe there were better examples.
Struggling to get the door open, the dark haired female would soon slide her way through, taking the keys between her teeth before walking inside with a calm expression. Better to do the important things early, such a getting dinner and everything ready. Of course, this left little time to prepare the bar itself, which had as little as two hours before it's own designated opening time.

Having separated from his potential ally in Elfé, Genesis began his search to find out exactly where Cloud was at the moment. He couldn’t blame her for needing some time alone, looking about the small city as she gathered her thoughts on the situation. It was a lot to take in, the entire world she knew was practically gone. It was also one thing to hear it from him, but entirely another to see the ruins of Midgar for herself. As much as they hated Shinra, it wasn’t as if they’d ever wanted the everyday citizens to suffer from their absence. It was a necessary evil in order to put an end to a greater one, though the devastation of the city was far beyond what either had ever planned on committing. Still he’d been able to come to terms with everything, she would too strong as she was. All she needed was a little time. Thankfully, getting pointed in the right direction wasn’t nearly as difficult as Genesis would’ve feared. Though one person insisted on merely giving a phone number to one “Strife Delivery Service”, Genesis no longer carried a phone as it had long lost service back when he first defected from Shinra. Perhaps now he should get a new one, could make staying in contact with allies much easier. He’d make sure to do that before they left Edge, get one for him and Elfé both. While Shinra had no doubt liquidated his assets and taken all of his gil back, he had ample items to sell and some gil he’d received as rewards for helping people in their time of need. He needed to find a more stable income of course, but for now that would serve just fine. Despite the phone dilemma, he was able to get directions from a few people as to where he could run into the spiky haired blond. Apparently, the Strife Delivery Service was his company he ran out of a woman named Tifa’s bar named Seventh Heaven, with some hints from those he spoke to that perhaps she was his partner and they were raising two orphans together. Rather charitable of them, really showed how they were still heroes despite the fate of the world not being on the line. Genesis could respect that, even if he couldn’t see himself being able to do the same. No, he was far from being ready to settle down. Not until the world was safe and he’d become the hero of his dreams. Only then. When he did finally find Seventh Heaven, he went to open the door only to find that it was locked. The sign on the door said that it’d be another two hours until it opened, leaving the ex-SOLDIER to sigh. Now what was he to do? He couldn’t just stand here for two hours; how would it look if it sat on the steps to some bar waiting to open? He was no alcoholic, and he wasn’t about to portray the stereotype. Instead he turned around, taking a few steps back so he could look up the building and to the scenery around him. This city was bland, much like the slums had been beneath Midgar. There was some design at least, like the angel statue that sat atop an arch across the road. If only he could walk about like that without dismissing his wing… Oh well, at least the hole in his coat could be mistaken for a battle scar especially with the state of his attire. Perhaps that was something else to work on while they were here… Thread Theme: A Closed Off Village; Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core
