♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ Alhanalem was surprised by all that was going on. Especially when the hornet first came before him before flying past him thanks to some of the others. First he was alone in the room with the two and then everyone was there. At least it meant he didn't need to deal with everything on his own. The starburst was a bit of a big surprise and the yuke hadn't moved much yet.
Getting his thoughts back together as he shook his helmet, Alhanalem focused a circle underneath the two of Zidane and Mogrid where they were standing. Then he used Cure to restore some more health to both of them. Then he moved a bit closer to Blaise before moving more towards the center as he turned and focused magic again. Placing a circle underneath the hornet against the wall, he quickly used Thunder before placing a second circle and using Blizzard to try and deal some more damage. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ OOC SECTION CD: Fire (0), Cure (1), Thunder (1), Blizzard (1) I'm sorry for not posting previous round.

Zidane felt that, at this moment, Mogrid sounded like one of those knights from the storybooks. Valiant and willing to face the flagrant fires of dragons in order to rescue his princess. Though in this case Mogrid seemed more the dragon as he rained a barrage of Ice spells upon the deviant apids. Zidane knew a thing or two about rampaging beasts and terrifying monsters, but unlike the former fights they faced prior to this unique arena, of sorts. They weren't outside where one could tumble, roll and cause all sorts of destruction. In here it was dangerous to all parties involved to cause any sort of collateral damage. The hornets seemed more akin to soldiers, knights guarding their queen. The revelation was one that should have come a moment sooner. They weren't wild, nor rampaging. These beasts had tactics. It was they, this time, that were the aggressors and such did not sit well with the rogue. It was too bad they were like mindless monsters or he would have handed out an apology or two for a rather upfront show. In slipping behind the buzzing knights he had managed to turn it away from the rest. It followed him with a guarded fixations, but it had been vulnerable. Its shield was no ornate decoration. It had use and, like any shield, couldn't guard the rear. After finding his mark the hornet would soon react with a more aggressive fair of combat. In the stead of its physical strikes it opted for a more mystical means of combat and struck Mogrid and himself with an arcing flame. This left Zidane surprised, his blinding move showing to slow it little. The haze oft associated with the debilitating spell was not to be seen nor was its accuracy the least bit fettered by Zidane's assaults. It was naught but a moment later that he felt the mending winds tracing over his flesh from the Moogle and Yuke. He heeded Mogrid's solution to their problem. If the other hornet was taken down that much wouldn't be a problem in the first place. It wasn't until a second dose of curative magic, from a further source, had caught his notice. His tail curled up, the end hooking in as he made note of Dagger's rather late arrival. He had sworn she was right behind him. Whoops. But she was here now, and that was what mattered! he'd offer a sheepish grin before looking to the hornet as it settled from its casting. The shield would prove a minor problem, but with Gyun pushing himself to the limit against his buddy, they'd soon have a panicked bug to contend with. Zidane motioned his hand to Mogrid. The moogle could, if he liked, tuck away and evade the beast's attempt, but it would do him no good, because the wasp was focused on him. The tailed thief would seize advantage of the left hornet's assault. The bug he was upon would soon find a flying monkey in his presence as the rouge leapt from the ground in a single bound and came hurtling down at the beast and would attempt to Steal its shield using the grip of his tail, and attempting to hurl it aside so he could strike with the brunt of his Rumble Rush before landing down and triggering his Reverse Air Dash to drive himself to the eastern portion of the arena and make sure, were it to strike again, it wouldn't be in the direction of his teammates. The Ogre: The Ogre uses the combined magical force of the twin Mage Mashers to provide the chance to inflict the Blind status on opponents, diminishing their ability to attack, by over half, for a one post duration. This is a passive ability and has a 10% (above 90 on a d100 roll) chance of inflicting blind when the sword strikes an enemy. Jump Boost: Raises Zidane's normal, vertical jump from 4m (15ft) to 6m (20ft) when not in trance. [Passive] Steal - 1 Cooldown Using his sneaky and speedy nature he attempts to steal his enemy's weapon. This action induces the Disable effect, making enemies unable to use their weapon's skills or abilities for a turn until the weapon is retrieved. Rumble Rush - 1 Cooldown A melee strike that is so fast it knocks back the opponent and cannot be dodged. This attack does light damage. Reverse Air Dash - 3 Cooldown When in close quarters combat with an opponent, his quick, reflexive form provides him the speed to kick back away from an attack for up to 3m (10ft) away from an opponent. Much of the assault wasn't needed, as it would seem. Gyun's attacks ripped through the Hornet's armor easily once it was weakened, and soon the armored apid finally wavered. It swayed dramatically on its feet, its shield clanging to the ground alongside its silver Scepter. Before the Hornet itself fell, however, it drew another object from a pocket: A pure-white glove, somehow unstained amidst the sweat and blood of battle, which it tossed upward into the air before falling backward onto the marble. The glove, its purpose yet unknown, simply drifted through the air alone.
The other Hornet's fixation was broken by this development, and it rushed with a previously unseen speed to reach its former comrade. There, it dropped its weapons as well, kneeling down to assess the situation before apparently deeming the wounds untreatable. It sobbed there, or at least it may have been sobbing (It was hard to tell, as its only communication was a sort of chittering noise), and drew a second glove to toss into the air. It joined the first, and together they floated... Until something caught them.
Well, nothing caught them, actually, and that was perhaps the most bewildering part of it all. One of the gloves suddenly halted in the air before being turned about and adjusted as it was stretched to fit what looked to be an unseen hand. "Poor, poor children..." called an as-of-yet unheard voice. It was clearly that of a woman, though it was too smooth and deep to be of a young one. The floating, gloved hand reached down to take hold of the golden Scepter of Obedience as the voice continued. "Your sacrifice is known and honored," she assured the hornet while turning the Scepter upside-down so the point of the staff was facing it. Then, it was thrust forward, piercing the soldier's armor and punching straight through the other side, causing the Hornet to freeze up and grow still.
The weapon was withdrawn, and the second Hornet collapsed over the first, and soon after both of their forms faded into a familiar, spirit-ridden mist. Maneuvering around the grip of the Scepter, the hand retrieved the other glove and stretched it over an opposite hand, forming a proper pair while the voice concluded, "But your soldiery is a failure."
"...But you shall be avenged." The second hand reached down like the first and took up the silver Scepter of Independence, and both hands flexed their fingers over the enchanted metal. Though the movements may have looked like simple stretches, they were much more in that they carried in them a great tension brought on by rage and offense. "No more heroes will partake of my subjects," that voice declared as another illusion dissipated, slowly revealing a creature in the center of the room that, until then, had remained completely invisible- The creature that the hands belonged to, as did the Scepters, and the soldiers, and the shining crown atop her head.
Her name was Hornetia.
"I challenge thee!" declared the newcomer, Hornetia, as she raised her Scepter of Obedience in the air. In that same moment, a dim aura descended upon Gyun and Alhanalem, surrounding them in a bleak, black mist that latched to their bodies. Hornetia gave no explanation for it, instead continuing, "If you know your place, then come- Embrace your new Queen..." Gyun urks a bit as a weird spell is suddenly applied by a very... big bee. Well that's great. He weighs his options and finds that without knowing entirely how this spell works, his best option is to do what she says. He's in range to attack, could cast a spell, but he's not going to do so now, because he doesn't quite know what affect causing her harm would have. Instead, the moomba shrugs, and, not having any better ideas, follows her orders.
Honestly, Gyun is great at doing what he's told, he has plenty of training to be servile and he takes to the demand quite naturally and obediently despite his reservations because of the giant, powerful insect, and leaps from his position to climb onto her back and wrap his arms around her in kind of a clumsy but willfully affectionate hug, careful not to poke her with his weapon's pointy bits. He realizes that this might not be the most helpful action to take as he's now kind of in the way a little bit but he really doesn't want to possibly die a horrible death.
Oh, also, while he's here he might as well Draw from her to learn what his queen bee can do, since it's off cooldown! and won't, itself, cause any harm. It goes really well this time. Who knew hugging was so integral to copying a monster's magic? Several very vibrant orbs extract from Hornetia, followed this time by swirling trails, and they swirl around Gyun as he attempts to absorb them. He's drawing from her because he's pretty sure this spell wasn't in the scepter when he drew before and it must be her.
ou3pQOj31-10
Gyun is suffering impending doom. Gyun's life is in imminent danger! Limit Break cooldown reduces from 9 to 2!
Gyun obediently hugs a bee! (Hornet) because that's what he's supposed to be doing, right? Obviously, she said to!
Gyun Draws from Hornetia, it is a great success! On a 7 Gyun can copy spells and magical abilities of up to second level! and as per usual file one away for later use. 1-10

“Sir Magister, is it just me or is Zidane colorblind?” Blaise inquired peevishly to Alhanalem, gesticulating to the fighters assaulting the bug holding the gem distinctly NOT red. “Wait…” Wide blue eyes regarded the Yuke, filled with sudden uncertainty. “… is it just me?” A hard swallow was followed by rummaging in multifarious pockets and pouches, “W-Wait what color is…”
Then the gloves came off, literally. The Hornet Queen had arrived and there came an unsettling ambiance that sent prickles up the spine. Blaise surveyed his companions, taking note of the strange auras and minor wounds. His eyes passed over the Moogle still charging his cryomancy at the ballroom’s edge.
Blaise had heard Morgrid’s rage, his need to save a seemingly rotting world. The Dark was on the rise, but if Mogrid saw the approaching tsunami, he nevertheless refused to give way. Monsters were a rather thorny subject really. While as eager a bounty hunter as the next Ivalician clansman, with new influx of power Blaise became a little less Hume. His genome was a psychometric hodgepodge of creatures, to say nothing his dreams, which’d long since ceased to resemble hominid fears and anxieties. Was it strange then to admire Mogrid’s passion, to recognize virtue in an sense of overwhelming obligation Blaise himself had never felt? Useless sentimentality probably, but Blaise let the feeling linger nevertheless. The greatest of the Blue Magi soon ceased having Hume feelings at all, might as well treasure his own species’ tender foolishness until it was drowned out by dragons, demons, and stranger things.
Blaise his lowered his voice to a whisper, letting it become lost in the monarchial bluster and the din of battle.
Harken to my voice Conqueror of Skies There’s one who seeks your justice, Your strength eternal and unyielding It is not I First Sire, but another Heart worthy of what I had to steal, Cast your eye on Mogrid great Bahamut Be not deaf to his aching soul
Hoping the suffusion of emerald power into Mogrid over the edge of the ballroom wouldn’t attract too much notice, Blaise returned to his attention on the importune imperial promenade just in time to see Gyun pay due obeisance. Ceruleans eyes narrowed, trying to see to see if the Moomba was under some sort of compulsion. It didn’t seemed to be the case, but you cant never tell with manavorous lions after all.
Oooh…NOW we were going for the RED hornet, gotchya.
“Yes of course, whatever your Vespidacious Majesty commands!” Blaise approached the esusocial empress, bowing and scrapping with simpering aplomb enough for any Raithwall scion’s court. A searing inner heat built with every step, bringing sweat trickling down his face even as the blue mage flourished with grand genuflection. By the time he reached the great Insect, Blaise’s skin was crimson as a western templar’s cloak. Blaise reached out take his new queen into his arms, even as his skin ignited as if were wax paper. “Long live the queen.”
Hoping her majesties bulk would shield his companion’s somewhat, Blaise promptly Blew-Up.
1) Blaise casts Dragon Force on Mogrid, increasing all his damage by one tier 2) Blaise walks forward to embrace Hornetia 3) Blaise casts Blow-Up, dealing heavy fire damage to himself and hornetia, along with Knock-up and back.

Royal Mage
I'll Assist In Your Task Monumental
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ Alhanalem looked surprised at the inquiry, looking over at the gems, he pondered why he was thinking about something unrelated to this fight. Then again, if this 'Zidane' was colorblind... or had different mental aspects of seeing reality, it'd perhaps be an issue. Though, when this man started to rave on, the royal mage was uncertain if it wasn't he who had some issues. "Oh no, the color is that which you believe uncontroversial," he told the man, trying to calm him a bit, "otherwise we both are contrapuntal and may have difficulties mental."
The sudden appearance of the Queen was a surprise, one that wasn't exactly wanting. Not only that, the arrival alone cast something onto him that had his feelings a bit worsened. What was going on? There came the request to embrace her, this was odd in essence, his body felt compelled. Instead he rose his Staff and walked with a quicker pace towards Gyun that was hugging the queen. Then a circle appeared underneath them and himself as he called, "get in the circle if your status physical or mental is lessened by something conditional." Then after a pause he cast Clear. Embracing the three, and anyone else that got within the circle, with light as he rid of all their negative status ailments.
The fact that Blaise just went and blew him up there did bother him a bit while he was casting, but he still held on as he called out to him: "Sir Starsinger, are you in need of aid monumental?" He hoped the man was alright. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ OOC SECTION CD: Cure (0), Blizzard (0), Thunder (0), Clear (3) Kept the circle for Clear active for a while in case Mogrid or Zidane want to join and get Armor Break removed. Al doesn't know if any can be cleansed.

Why purpose could it serve? More importantly, why didn’t it fall to the ground? Why was it seemingly wafting about as if caught in a mid-evening breeze? Mogrid felt power course through his body. Healing energies from the avian knight, strength from the blue mage, and just a hint of the energies coursing through the area. He bellowed a challenge out, his voice amplified by the draconic power infusing him, and charged in close to the royal hornet. He'd anticipated that she would appear, but not that she'd be as large or commanding as she was, or invisible.
"Cursed being, twisted queen! Feel the sting of justice served cold as the depths of your black heart! Know retribution for the pain you have caused!"
As he dashed close, Alhanalem's second circle opened under his feet, and he felt the cleansing energies of that spell wash over him. Sensing this would be a good time, Mogrid released all of his magic at point-blank range into the queen's body. All six shards of ice lanced toward the apid, but even before they'd left his arm's reach he was already practically in the Queen's face, his weapon once more held ready to capture incoming physical attacks.

Zidane could see what the Yuke was saying. Looking up to the wasps, well now wasp, the rogue could see that something was off. He had thought maybe he'd simply confused the insects, but on closer inspection it it was more of misdirection created by the knights in order to confuse the group. From what he could surmise the wizard for suggesting that the bugs play to sort of sleight of hand. Now the thief was no expert so when it came to sleight of hand. His skills laid in acrobatics and feats of agility. It has looked easy to break through their defenses, but the more he had fought the harder it was to strike them. They worked together, but also apart. The Moogle and Moomba made quick work of their targets: laying thick onto them the brunt of their more ferocious assaults. Alhanalem and Gyun were attacked but what looked to him to be a Charm spell, seduced by the Queen's commands due to the control of her rod. Zidane knew what he was going to do, but it would take some proper planning. He watched the other hunters move in. Normally the goal of the Festival was to take out your target under the set amount of time and there was always a weakness to be had on beasts like this. Garnet and Mogrid pushed forward with assaults and Blaise, quite literally, lit up the house with a show of fireworks like no other. He winced and pulled back. Not even in the heavy repertoire the Gourmand had of spells of similar, monstrous flight had Zidane ever seen another capable of such immolation. He had to remain focused though. While there were no civilians to dote over here there was the very real risk of bringing the house down! He was low on options. He wasn't willing to push himself to his limit, and there was no way this queen was going to find Invincible giving an encore. No the rogue had to take charge if it meant giving the others a chance to take the beast out. No longer was it about the points, or coming out the victor. They had to squash the old man's experiments and tinkering. Things like this, was way beyond the norm. Menacing machines, conniving corpses and not buzzing bugs! With his thief sword in hand Zidane would push forward. From within the range needed he would launch an arc of magic, expelled from his depths in a sharp, untrained manner. The Scoop Art was the closest the Queen was going to get to a Trance burst. He slid to a stop and pointed to the distance. " What's That?!" He called, in hopes to catch the wasp off guard, forcing her focus to change to allow the others to venture nearer, or escape. If it was able to work Zidane would attempt to take the last few steps in and use Rumble Rush, aiding the immolated Blaise ping pong that bug about. [Passive] Scoop Art - 2 Post Cooldown Zidane expels a portion of the energy built up in his body out towards an enemy. This ability can be used from the ground or air and does not need a weapon to be cast. This ability is considered a magical attack so is not affected by Protect-like abilities. This ability has a short range, reaching up to 4ft (1.2m). What's That!? - 2 Cooldown A feint that tricks an enemy into turning around, allowing the thief to perform a devastating back attack on the enemy. A back attack raises the damage done by the strike due to lowered guard, causing moderate damage to be dealt, essentially doubling damage. The more the ability is used, the less chance it has of succeeding on an intelligent opponent. The Dice command will determine the success rate: 1-4 Fail: 5-10 Succeed. For every try the roll required to succeed will be higher (6-10, 7-10, etc). 2SBI4TLz1-10Rumble Rush - 1 Cooldown A melee strike that is so fast it knocks back the opponent and cannot be dodged. This attack does light damage. MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS 1-10

At first, Hornetia appeared to be taking the gesture of the embrace just as literally as the others were. When Gyun came close to wrap his arms around her, she lowered close enough to the ground to return the gesture, her left hand with its silver Scepter meeting the back of his neck to hold him close. "Oh, how you forget yourselves so easily," she lamented as the clouds grew thicker around Gyun and Alhanalem, concealing their forms entirely. "To abandon thine allies with one word... Your allegiance is worthless." When the clouds finally withdrew, the two they had obscured were completely limp, robbed of their breath. She finally dropped the golden Scepter of Obedience, and her incantation was set. All in an instant, a great storm of lightning broke down from the ceiling, searing the ground in a broad ring, striking anything that wasn't immediately near her, the only victim of which was the mage in the corner, who would soon find her spirit wavering under some unseen curse.
Hornetia was snapped back into the moment by a blast of flame against her back, and she lowered the Moomba to the ground so he could rest outside of her embrace. She didn't react, then, to the barrage of ice that pattered against her back, each one shattering with just as hard an impact at the last. When that was done and her pet was laid down proper, she spun about with the same indifference in her eyes as before, raising the silver Scepter in her opposite hand. "To brazenly meet your foe is an Embrace all its own," she noted aloud, "as vile as it may be... Dare thee to continue?" [attr="class","kiminoright"] Garnet’s teeth dug into her bottom lip as she’d found herself targeted by the Queen’s phantom strike, its’ effects felt immediately as an increasing pressure built within her head. Its’ presence alone made her twist and turn uneasily, bile building in the back of her throat, accompanied shortly after by acrid taste in her mouth. Her knuckles blanched, every ounce of color fading from the tips of her fingers as her grip around her racket tightened. You are unfit to be Queen , that thought echoed throughout her subconscious as she’d studied the Wasp Queen. Blaise’s gambit was impressive to say the least, not only had he risked himself, but he’d used the Queen’s own ploy against her. [break][break] Certainly, his silver-tongue proved to be yet another dangerous weapon in his arsenal. Mogdrid’s bombardment of icy javelins struck true, each one resulting in a deafening crackling noise as it’d exploded against the Queen’s metallic carapace. Her heart sunk to the bit of her chest as she’d watched Zidane storm the Queen, his blade maneuvered daftly about his body as he’d assailed her. It was only then that the malignant miasma wafted around the Queen, it’d consumed two of her allies, both Gyun and Alhanalem’s body collapsing to the ground like a marionette with its’ strings cut. That same miasma drifted from them to Mogdrid and Zidane, a fact that filled her heart with dread. [break][break] Garnet’s eyes burned with ferocity as she’d raised her racket defiantly, pointing it at Gyun, a soft prayer leaving her lips as she invoked both Concentrate and Life ], phantasmal plumage dancing wildly around the Moomba as it’d revitalized his furry body. Her temperament souring just a bit as she’d turned her undivided attention to the Queen once more. Her hand reaching into one of her pockets to fish out two stones Peridot and Opal . Her soft prayers to the Gaian Gods lost within the strife-filled battleground as she’d called them forth and delivered punishment. [break][break] Shiva, the Empress of Ice manifested herself and would bombard the Queen with a blast of artic wind, one that held a number of javelines within, when it hit the ground or her body, it exploded outwards, crystalline stalagmite decorating her for a split second before the Queen snapped her fingers. The next instance all that ice had shattered, its’ moisture still clinging to the Queen’s metallic frame as Ramuh appeared, his scepter pointed in her direction before the full wraith of a storm descended upon her. The synergy of the two would hopefully put the vespoid Queen in her place. If not, perhaps Garnet’s biting words would.[break][break] “You are unfit to wear the mantle of Queen… A Queen genuinely cares for those she sovereigns over…. She forgives their transgressions and eases their suffrage…” [break][break] [break][break]
1. Used Life / Concentrate on Gyun [break] 2. Invoked Ramuh [break] 3. Invoked Shiva[break]

Astrisia was a bit late again, but she made it in time for that haughty queen bee. She was never fond of 'royality'. All her experiences were negative. An Emperor who brought only destruction... A queen incable of protecting her people, of saving their home. This queen was no different. Still she could relate to it's desire for vengence, though if she wished them to live she could have done more, such as perhaps standing with them as they fought the hunters. She did not and as such she hels just as much blame as the hunters she persecuted. It made the mage sick. Whether or not it was a monster it was capable of intelligent thought. This made it capable of making that choice.
Moral choices aside that creature was the enemy and needed to be put down. Much like the last hunt Astrisia would proceeded to move near Garnet, though this time more because that summoner was someone she was more comfortable around than the rest. As before she saw her position to be one to weaken there foe, so the more heavy hitters could bring down the blade. So she drew her staff and took focus, attempting a cast of Curse to weaken the Queen's effectiveness against them. Followed by this was Scourge. This time she took the time to observe her foe. It didn't seem the tome of creature capable of eating poison. To top it off she focused one last time and fired a barrage of spears at the queen in the form of Geiravoir her attempt was to afflict and weaken their foe. If she could do so it would make the going easier for those still standing. As she came in she saw quite a few already knocked down. The more allies they lost the more difficult the fight would become. As such weakining the Queen in anyway possible was a major goal.

Gyun perks! as the hornet hugs him back. Perhaps this is a conflict that can be solved peacefully! His hopeful, friendly expression rapidly dims as he feels the life draining from his body, the clouds choking the air from his body... He understands some things, briefly... but it's too late, and he goes slack, only his hooked claws keeping him held aloft. A deceased moomba is a terribly ignoble and sad sight that will not be described here. Thankfully it does not last for long and the creature gasps as his body is filled with revivifying energy and with a start and a gasp the light returns to his eyes.
The moomba is quite shaken, and angry. He doesn't know why he let her convince him she could be at all good. He withdraws his grib and shoves forcefully at Hornetia's back to remove himself, but this immediately followed by a rather significant fiery explosion of Sunstrike, it looks significantly angry and seems to disrupt her natural magical energy. It also fires him away from the queen because he is not anchored and bounces him off of Mogrid's head, which is unfortunate as he is bigger than the moogle. This also causes the moomba to tumble behind him a few moomba's back. He lands not particularly gracefully after rolling backwards, and remains prone, because he'd rather show the hornet exactly how he feels about it. With a raise of a paw he summons a familiar star and LOBS it over Mogrid right at her, pelting her with a Starshot to shatter her physical defenses. "YOU'RE NOT NICE!"
He sees that he's not the only one that fell, and even though he doesn't know the strange speaking creature particularly well, he feels for them and looks about for... Garnet is still standing. He'll need to borrow that soon if he's still alive to do so. He wasn't siding with the stupid hornet, he was just trying to show her compassion. Even though she... uhh.. is clearly a sociopath.
Gyun completes draw and dies like an animal.
Gyun is revivified before he can suffer cell breakdown, hooray!
Gyun casts Sunstrike, a magical defense reducing ability which he apparently learned from the queen while he was being choked to death, and is propelled backward by the force, bouncing off of Mogrid and ending up a few monster lengths behind him.
Gyun follows up with Starshot from his prone position to reduce physical defenses.

So. It seemed the queen bee was too busy with her own scepter up her thorax to pay attention to a moogle. Suited him just fine. He felt the energies of death embrace him, but no one living near Henne mines for very long was unfamiliar with that grim shade. It only made him set his jaw to face his end with as much purpose as he could mu-OW!
The moogle was bowled backward by a ballistic ball of moomba, and the contact...made him feel better. Mogrid suddenly understood something of how this worked! He formulated a plan based on the available facts and nodded to Gyun. He charged past Zidane, tagging him with a Protect spell, literally tapping him on his way by to transfer the spell and get closer to Garnet to prepare for something he'd need to wait for. It was too close to the last time he'd cast curative magics.
Instead he positioned himself ready to defend the summoner (forgotten gods of lightning and ice be damned), and flicked another Blizzard at the Hornet. "I'd be a poor friend if I let that mummer's excuse for royalty hurt someone Zidane cares about without repercussion. Be careful though, Miss 'Dagger', and stick close to me!" he said as he wound up and HURLED his keyblade at Hornetia to inflict as much damage on her as possible while he still felt the strength of dragons infusing him.
actions:1 Protect on Zidane, delivered physically to pull Impending Doom off him. Gonna pass it off later }=3 2 Blizzard at Hornetia while charging past. 3 'ranged' attack with the Mechanist (literally throwing it at a bee)
Conditions: -Impending Doom +Impending Doom Dragon Force
Cooldowns: Cure (0) Blizzard (1) Protect (1) Barrage (3)

Oh.
Dagger was pissed.
That was the short end of it.
It wouldn't do that Dagger sought reasons to insult anyone's crown, what with strained relations between states, stars and the like, but in this case the wild and destructive attitude of this ruler, using her subjects ad shields and her uncouth demands of worship did seem to touch on the maiden's nerves. It did to piss Zidane off too. While he wasn't against a bit of direction this whole Says Me game was starting to make fools out of them. He would affirm Mogrid's action by clapping his hand in a high five motion, understanding the Moogle's actions and catching the protect spell in his wake of action. So she wanted to play, so patty cake it was.
"Alright Mogrid, I'll teach this royal buffoon some manners!" Taking the Ogre in hand he spun and he would hell and high water on the buzzing monarch. He would open his assault with Booster 8, charging the giant hornet with an upward strike in attempt to launch her higher into the air, pushing forward with two more strikes. With her in the air, be it from his attack or her own wings: he would jump up and strike with Vortex, spinning the Ogre with light damage, but each hit would seek to increase the assault with its sheer ferocity of attacks, leaning toward three strike attempts as a whole. But the Calvary wasn't done and he was ready! The Ogre: The Ogre uses the combined magical force of the twin Mage Mashers to provide the chance to inflict the Blind status on opponents, diminishing their ability to attack, by over half, for a one post duration. This is a passive ability and has a 10% (above 90 on a d100 roll) chance of inflicting blind when the sword strikes an enemy.Jump Boost: Raises Zidane's normal, vertical jump from 4m (15ft) to 6m (20ft) when not in trance. [Passive]Booster 8 - 3 Cooldown After charging forward the thief attacks multiple times (3) before launching the enemy into the air to draw the attack into other combos. This is a single attack, that can be used to open into a combo attack or a stand alone strike. This attack can be used with either blade archetype (Mage Mashers or The Ogre) and can only be started from the ground.Vortex - 3 Cooldown This attack can only be used midair. An upward spiraling attack that slashes at opponent(s) for light damage, than strikes multiple (3) times to knock them back. This attack can be chained to Booster 8 as a combo finisher. It can be used with either blade archetype (Mage Mashers or The Ogre). This attack strikes all surrounding foes, doing area effecting damageHi-Five - Hi fived Mogrid to tap back that status effect, swapping with him and increasing its duration. MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS
