Unknown, though she appears to be around 30 years old.Gender:
Adventurer, Paladin/Samurai, sword for hire, ex-military.Race:
Father: Nunh of an unknown tribe, possibly deceased.Personality:
Mother: Unknown, possibly deceased.
Brothers and Sisters: Could be none, could be a hundred other Miqo'te. She doesn't know and they could all well be dead too.
Kira is confident, to the point of arrogant. She's frequently seen boasting about her strength and is often seen getting into fights with other people so she can show she can back up her words. And back them up she can for she's incredibly gifted in swordplay and martial arts. She always has a cold, serious expression on her face, mostly so those with yellow bellies or weak spines are turned away and don't bother her. She values her privacy and will often resort to threats and promises of violence to ensure she keeps said privacy. Saying that, she's not one to back down from a challenge and isn't afraid to socialise with others, be they merchants, fellow warriors or civilians.History:
Kira does have a more sensitive side to the cold, serious demeanour she often shows, though getting her to show that side of her would be like trying to squeeze blood from a stone. Thanks to her upbringing and her childhood, she has great difficulty making connections with others, from simple things to forging friendships to complicated things like finding romance and trusting others. She values her strength and her stamina and is often seen training herself for whatever fight she gets into next. She enjoys to travel and explore and is usually missing for weeks on end as she heads off on her way to seek out new lands, new enemies and new treasures.
There's not much known about Kira's history, simply because she doesn't speak of it.Physical Description:
It all went wrong when she was around five years of age. She claims she was abandoned by her parents and left to rot in the deserts of Southern Thanalan. Others dispute she lost her way when out foraging with her mother, or perhaps she mother defended her from an attack by a monster and little Kira was unable to find her way back to her tribe. Whatever the truth might be, Kira was left to fend for herself in the wilds. She should have died so many times, but her will and her determination to stay alive kept her going. She trained her body and mind to the limits, amassing incredible strength, stamina and constitution from fighting monsters, climbing trees and swimming in lakes and eating wild and poisonous fruits, berries and mushrooms. Mother Nature became her parent and taught her everything she needed to know to survive the harsh deserts, the thick jungles and the brutality of man.
Over time she taught herself many things, including reading, writing and swordsmanship. She took to the blade very quickly, learning from such a young age that she would need to master this weapon were she to have any sort of chance of surviving the wilds. The 'training' she received from the wilds aided in that as well and she soon grew into a force to be reckoned with. As she grew older, she learned of the joy of exploration and started to traverse the lands. The more she travelled, the new things she learned, be it for better or worse. An example of a 'worse' experience, would be learning of the Garleans and their plot to conquer all the lands as their own. As the conflict between the Alliance and the Garleans grew, it started to become aware to Kira that she couldn't just sit by and watch things unfold. She'd need to act. Thus she joined the Alliance and pledged her blade and her strength into driving back the Garleans at Carteneau. Unfortunately for the Alliance, the Garleans decided to drop the moon, Dalamud, on the Alliance's head and break the seal that held Bahamut prisoner within.
Fortunately for Kira, or perhaps luckily, she managed to survive the onslaught that Bahamut brought at Carteneau and soon vanished back into the wilds to both lick her wounds and put that battle behind her. Much as before she appeared to assist the Alliance at Carteneau, Kira's history shares a similar fate afterwards. She simple vanished into the wilds and isn't seen or heard of again for a few years. She pops up every now and then in different cities and towns to resupply her travelling goods as well as buy feed for the chocobo she acquired. Finding his egg not long after Carteneau, Kira raised the red-feathered bird into a fine chocobo, who seems to be the polar opposite of the Miqo'te personality wise. He's friendly, always seems to be 'smiling' and chirps and warks and fluffs his feathers to fill the silence Kira brings. Oddly enough, the chocobo is the only creature that she fully trusts and is far more knowledgeable about Kira then any other being on the face of Hydaelyn. These days, she travels the world exploring, fighting and seeking out treasure wherever her nose points her.

“Hmm, you look strong... want to fight?”
“... Why do you care?”
“... I'm not interested.”
“You seriously think you can best me?”
“I've survived worse then this, show me what you got!”
“... I'm wasting my time here, get lost!”
“Hey! You got a problem with my chocobo then you've got a problem with me!”
“There isn't anyone I cannot defeat!”
“... You won't last a week in the wilds.”
It was just another day unlike any other. The sun rose, the birds sung, the dew glistened on the drooping leaves. All was quiet and all was calm, as it should be. The only sound that wasn't created by nature, was the flapping of a tent, gently shifting in the warm breeze. Within stirred the female miqo'te Kira as she roused herself from slumber. Funny, she was usually such a light sleeper, able to wake and become alert to her surroundings at a moment's notice. Today however, she sat upright groggily and rubbed her eyes, letting out a long yawn as her arms rose over her head, ears twitching, tail flicking.Password:
She grumbled as she sat up on her bedroll, her eyes glancing over what little belongings she had. A few books, a couple sacks of random treasures, her sword and other necessary travel gear. There was only one bunch of gysahl greens left, a bunch that one hungry sounding chocobo was wanting.
”... Alright, alright, I'm getting up...”
The miqo'te grumbled as she crawled out of her tent, gysahl greens in hand. Her bright red feathered chocobo was stomping his talons one after the other on the spot, dancing an odd little jig as he warked and flapped his wings. He was as cheerful as ever and the sight of him instantly brought a smile to the miqo'te lips. She watched him for a second, her soft expression shifting to a stern one, the look on her face saying; 'You know what you have to do.'. Kira's large red bird immediately calmed down and fluffed his feathers gently, a soft whistle escaping his beak. A grin washed away the miqo'te seriousness as she tossed the gysahl greens into the air, her chocobo catching them with a snap of his beak before hastily chewing through them.
”... Savour it Genesis, that's the last one. We'll need to head to the nearest town and get some more.”
Kira explained as she reached for her gil pouch, finding it worryingly light.
”Hmm... looks like we'll need to complete a couple of jobs before we can restock your supplies.”
The black-haired miqo'te said with a frown as she tucked her gil pouch back into her belt. Though before she could think of what they should do next, something caught her attention behind her chocobo. It was spotted only for an instant, but she could have sworn she just saw some jet black Lalafell with bright yellow eyes just wander through a gap in the trees. She'd never seen a Lalafell like that before and so she went after it, passing through some shrubs and bushes but losing sight of it entirely. How weird... something about that little guy felt... wrong. Wrong in the sense that she couldn't feel 'anything' from it. Normally she was fairly good at detecting the aether of another being, but whatever that was, didn't have anything. Frowning, Kira felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand on end, and that never happened unless something really wasn't right. Quickly, she hurried back to her camp and gathered everything up, tying her belongings to Genesis' saddle where the two of them quickly rode off through the forest.
