It reminded him alot of home. The streets crowded with people busying themselves with their everyday lives; body's weaving in and out of the roads. As Prompto looked around, his camera was lifted up near his face. This was the first place he had been to that had such a rich technological environment. For the week or so he had been there, this was the first time he was in this sector of city. This city...the culture...he couldn't keep his eyes off it. Looking at a few cars pass by, the hairs on his arms lifted up in excitement.The familiarity here reminded him of home. As he took a few more shots of the wondrous city before him; he looked through his viewfinder towards one of the shops on the main stretch and what he saw made him stop.
It took him a second to register what he was looking at, but when he did he gazed at something he could only express as an out of body experience. Ignis, Gladio, a version of himself and Noct were standing by a storefront window peering inside. They all looked so happy. He saw himself press his own body against the window, cupping his hands by his face to get a more magnified look into the stores contents while Gladio was trying to pull him away. Ignis was shaking his head, his shoulders bobbing from his chuckling and Noct was standing by his best friends side shaking his head at him.What was he seeing? He couldn't hear any voices, but saw their mouths move as they conversed with one another. This couldn't be real, he thought to himself and as soon as Noct looked over towards the camera, towards him, Prompto lifted his head up and what he saw was replaced with a different picture.
It wasn't that same store front in Insomnia that the boys all visited, it was a rather simple looking building with no display window to show goods to the world. The outside was a dull brown with a plain metal door; it's color lacking the same vibrancy that home had. The door swung open every so often to let patrons in and out from what he could only guess was an item shop of some sorts. He felt his heart ache as he realized that it was just an illusion and a sad smile crept onto his lips.
“Iggy… Gladio…” he sighed to himself thinking about his friends. His journey he knew now was not his own anymore. “I'll be back home before you know it. “ he chuckled and turned his camera off for now and put it back around his neck.
After the few world's that he had visited and the reunion with Ravus; someone, somewhere had to have answers on how to travel to different worlds without using those portals that he has been using. Something about them..felt freaky. For a fraction of a second, when he appeared on this world he felt like he was missing something, but that questionable feeling…it disappeared just as quickly as it manifested. Knowing it was just his imagination he shook the thought out of his mind and got distracted, which started his picture taking.
Looking to the left he spotted a building in the distance; with his eyes squinted slightly he saw that the building resembled a bar; his stomach grumbled.
“Oh man, I could eat a behemoth” he sighed exaggerating . Digging into his pocket he pulled out small wallet with a chocobo insignia on it and looked inside to see how much money he had. “here's hoping this is enough. Kicking enemy butt here sure is exhausting...“ closing his wallet once again and tucking it back into its original spot. Prompto began to walk towards the bar labeled 7th Heaven.
