Edgar was befuddled by the huge structures around him. "It's magnificent... " The city was far more technologically advanced than his homeworld. It was more than obvious that he was not on his own world anymore. He was not a stupid man. He knew when something was not right. He just knew better than to panic. He'd gotten himself out of worse predicaments. This was at least a safer one. He was not concerned about any obvious threats. He was in a town surrounded by people.
Though, strangely dressed people on strange rectangular devices. He had paused behind one to see what he was doing on it. It was almost like a interactive book. It was interesting to the king. He enjoyed mechanics and learning new things. This was certainly something he needed to read up on.
The King watched the reactions to the townsfolk to his garb and frowned a little bit. He wasn't too fond of the extra attention, but what else was a King supposed to wear? He'd only change his appearance in the past to blend in with a band of thieves to reclaim his castle back in the day. But, he didn't want to do that if he did not have to. He quite liked his attire. So, he just ignored it. He was sure their royalty dressed just as well. They just weren't used to seeing it.
Edgar walked a bit, even riding a gondola or two to get around. Eventually finding himself lost in the middle of the huge city. It had to be five times larger than his own city, maybe even larger. That's when he knew he needed direction. He walked and found the most beautiful woman in the area to approach. He walked up calmly and placed a hand on her shoulder. He spoke with a soft tone and a flashy smile as usual. "Excuse me, ma'am. But, do you know where the library is? Maybe even a map? Because I have seem to have gotten lost in your eyes..."

A black portal ripped open in a back alley between two multi-story buildings as an overly muscular man in a martial arts gi pant and no shirt tumbled through and smacked his head off the side of a building. Last thing he remembered he was on his way back home to make sure Gau wasn't eating a live rabbit or anything, and he saw this swirling pool of black energy in the side of a cliff. Next thing he knew, someone had shoved him through it, but he didn't see who.
"Yeowch! What was that?!"
Sabin's loud booming voice somehow managed to carry through the hustle and bustle of the extremely packed street of a city he had not been in before. Rubbing his head from cracking the brick wall he'd run into, Sabin emerged from the alley and was immediately astonished by what he'd seen.
He'd obviously been to Figaro, being that he was supposed to be the ruler of it before he bolted, and he'd been to Vector, but even those two technological marvels of cities were nothing compared to this. It seemed everyone had a magitek vehicle they were riding in. People were all talking into or looking at magitek devices in some way, shape, or form. The entire city seemed to be nothing but machine after machine. Edgar would've loved to have seen this.
Sabin wandered around aimlessly for about an hour, before a small car ran right into him as he was crossing a street. He was too busy looking up at a skyscraper to realize there were lights telling people when they could or could not walk. The impact knocked him to the asphalt. This city had not been nice to him thus far.
Angrily, Sabin got up and looked at the magitek vehicle. Why would these people attack him? As the couple in the car exited the vehicle to check on Sabin's condition, he grabbed the fender of the vehicle and began to lift. Veins popped out of his arms as he flexed. One good lift from his thighs and torso and he suplexed the car onto its roof.
"You won't be attacking anyone else with that magitek weapon!"
Sabin then angrily marched off through the city for about another twenty minutes until he saw a familiar blonde haired ponytail in royal garments. Edgar was somehow in this city as well...and he was delivering another cheesy pickup line to another unsuspecting victim. The bear of a man walked up and clubbed his brother in the head before grabbing the back of his shirt.
"Leave her alone, brother. She's not buying what you're selling."
Sabin pulled Edgar a good five to ten feet away before he spoke again.
"Where are we? This surely isn't Figaro."

And while you are sitting indoors waiting for the storm to pass I will be outside dancing in the rain The “woman” Edgar had approached was clad in little more than a sheer Romanesque garment – its’ pristine fabric held up by the narrow width of her shoulders. Dieter’s tresses fell down his back in unruly flaxen waves, partially concealing the full length of the two-handed sword strapped to his midsection. His bare feet scrapped against the concrete of the sidewalk as his head tilted back – momentarily captivated by the sheer size of some of the surrounding buildings. He’d spent the better half of the morning roaming aimlessly through the city, uncertain of where he’d found himself this time when he’d stumble through yet another Dark Portal. Still, he wasn’t nearly as disturbed as one might of suspected – this didn’t differ much from an Ivalice he’d once known. Albeit, during his crystalline hibernation it’d appeared that much had changed. Fortunately, the demand for a sell-sword wasn’t one of them – Helios’ Ambition had welcomed him with open arms. The Dark Knight fought back the urge to genuinely smile as he’d recalled the faces of his comrades. However, it was around this time that Edgar’s hand closed around his shoulder. His cerulean eyes narrowed as he’d fell back upon instincts. His right hand immediately shot upwards to close around Edgar’s wrist, his grip started out dainty before it quickly turned vicelike. His left hand shot back to the hit of his blade and gripped it with the same ferocity as he’d pivoted to face the man that grabbed him. He’d shifted his weight to the balls of his feet as he’d spun around. His flaxen tresses spreading out behind him in a fan-shaped arc. No doubt, Edgar would notice despite Dieter’s androgynous features, he was no doubt as flat as a slab of marble. Plus, if he’d looked hard enough, he might have noticed Dieter’s subdued Adam’s apple – it was barely visible even at a close distance. Based of this man’s attire alone, it was quite plausible that he was an Ivalacian Noble. This realization prompted Dieter to reluctantly release the man’s wrist as he’d took a singular step backwards. ”Forgive me, Mi’ Lord you started me.” Dieter’s tone was soft, feminine but it held a timeless edge to it. It was around this time that Sabin had arrived. Dieter’s cerulean eyes drifted from Edgar to his brother, his hoary eyebrow raised in a intrigued manner. Sabin’s half-clad body was definitely a sight to behold, the bulging muscles and plethora of scars told quite the story – he was a warrior of caliber. It took a few extra seconds for the muscular man’s words to register, his facial expression souring immediately. His cheeked burned a faint crimson as he’d looked between the two… “He.... I am not a woman Mi’Lord… I believe they call this planet Eos… or at least that’s what I’ve been told.” word 300+ ● @edgar @sabin ● trap trap trap!!!

The King was a bit engrossed in the tall slim blonde in front of him to realize that his brother was in the same world he was. That was his biggest mistake. Not being the slightest bit aware of his surroundings. Womanizing had actually saved his life far more times than endangering it. So, this was going to be no different. His full attention was on the young woman, betting she was certainly a beauty. Though, the reality of the situation set in when he realized that her reaction time was quite impressive. Her hand shot up to grab his wrist, obviously startled by his sudden approach and physical contact. She certainly had quite a grip as he actually completely let go of her shoulder at the pressure the young woman had mustered up. There was no doubt that she was some sort of adventurer with a grip like that.
But, as the young girl turned to face him, a familiar figure caught him from behind. Today was certainly not his day. It was like his introduction to Terra all over again. Nothing but trouble.
The king felt the familiar tinge of pain shoot through his head as his slightly younger brother hit him square over the head with his rock solid fist. Edgar wincing a bit from the pain, eyes shutting before getting a good look at the woman he was out to woo. The assault was followed by being tugged a good few feet away by the back of his tunic and half shoved in the direction away from the young blonde woman with the lovely flowing blonde locks. A bit disoriented from the blow to his head, he was forced to blink a few times before turning to face his brother. "Sabin, truly.... that was certainly uncalled for.... and it actually really hurt. You know you could have done that less forcefully." the king complained as he rubbed his head. It was more a blow to his pride than his health.
His eyes moved back to the young woman that had addressed him as royalty, unlike more people from his homeland. "I have no idea, brother... But they have far more advanced technology than basic magitek." He replied as he watched the woman. Her voice seemed a bit off as she blushed and responded to the fact they'd both referred to her as a woman.
It was then that he registered it. The facial features were a bit off. The being infront of them completely flat chested, even with the feminine garb. The faint adams apple showing under it's chin. The man before them not a woman, even correcting them with his words. But, he was more informed then both twins standing before him. Edgar's face shifted to a bit of a withering expression. This was an extremely uncomfortable position he was in now. Sabin would certainly not let him live this down, hitting on a man.
"Oh...." The king started, extremely uncomfortable with the current turn of events. "My apology, sir... Your hair and clothing.... I made a horrible assumption... you have my sincerest apology, sir.... I most certainly overstepped my bounds. You have a very good grip, though....." He back peddled as he smiled a bit uncomfortably and rubbed the back of his head, still sore from the attack. Edgar felt extremely sick at the thought he'd most certainly hit on the man. He was extremely effeminate and the garb was very womanly in his opinion. But, he needed to change the subject. Now. "....Eos, you say. It's quite a beautiful city. Far more advanced than our world." He admitted as he watched the city pass by them. [[ Dieter Wolfram @sabin - Your trap card was activated]]

If ever karma had a perfect example this was it. For years Sabin had watched his brother hit on girl after girl with silly one-liners and awful, corny jokes. This was truly the best gift Sabin could ask for.
Just as Edgar had turned around to face his brother, whom he really hadn't seen in awhile anyway, the 'maiden' had also turned around to reveal a masculine jawline and a flat chest. This 'she' was a 'he'. Sabin instantly saw the regret and astonishment upon his brother's face. This was amazing! Sabin immediately fell on his rear end in hysterical laughter.
"Bahahahaha...brother...hahahaha..you have...hahaha...excellent..hahahaha...taste in women!"
Sabin, who was now officially to the point of pain he was laughing so hard, couldn't ask for karma to deliver her sweet justice any better. His brother was the biggest womanizer in all of Figaro, and he finally got what was coming to him.
He finally held out his hand to the long haired man and caught his breath, after what had to have been a solid two or three minutes of gut wrenching laughter. People along the streets were beginning to turn heads, and a small crowd had even gathered. A few of them were even laughing themselves, having seen what had just transpired. The bear sized man finally opened his mouth, pausing to catch his breath every few words.
"I'm sorry...you don't..understand... My brother...has had this coming...for a very long time."
Sabin took one long deep breath and continued, finally regaining his composure.
"I'm Sabin, and this is my brother, Edgar. Edgar, I'm never going to let you live this down. Just wait until I see Locke."
Sabin lept to his feet and held out a hand for the young man. Compared to Sabin, this guy was actually fairly frail looking, but almost everyone was smaller than him. He had only met one other person larger than him on his home world, and he was a yeti named Umaro.
"So, Eos huh...I don't remember anything called Eos. Where exactly are we? How far from Figaro is this?"

| The tips of Dieter’s fingers furthered blanch, the last nuance of color fading away as his grip around the hilt of his blade tightened. If either bothered to study the Dark Knight’s facial expression for longer than a fraction of a second, they’d no doubt notice that his right eye spasmed periodically – proof of his irritation. His anger only intensified further the longer that Sabin spent keeled over cackling to himself. Certainly, it wouldn’t last much longer, right? No, it continued for a grand total of three minutes before Sabin managed to extend a hand in his direction. He’d stared at it blankly for a second or two, uncertain if it’d be worth waiting.
“.. I fail to see the humor – in you slighting my honor.”
Dieter’s tone was cold, it’s edge lanced with venom. Sabin’s explanation did little to alleviate his festering anger, if anything it only left more questions unanswered. At least the more brutish of the two possessed some semblances of manners – albeit they were poor at best. He’d said nothing in response, simply nodding his head in acknowledgement of their introduction. When Sabin extended his hand towards Dieter, it’d quickly became apparent that he had no attention of accepting his greeting. No, he had a much different approach in mind.
“Sabin was it? I challenge you to a duel.”
Dieter’s tone carried the presence of finality – this was likely unavoidable. He’d brushed off any further question, gesturing for them to follow. Where were they going though? Earlier when he was stumbling through the city, he’d located an underground fighting ring – it was an illegal gambling site. It wasn’t particularly far away, perhaps a five-minute trip if one walked at a brisk pace

The torture began and there was going to be no stopping it. All the king could do was hang his head a bit in defeat and shield his eyes from the laughter. It was depressing to say the least. He had quite literally just hit on a man. There was no denying it. He had made a miscalculation and it was that simple. The King shook his head as he listened to Sabin roar in hysterics at the mistake. He was glad his brother found it so amusing. It was certainly not that funny. Even if the man was quite attractive. "It is not that funny, brother..." He commented quietly as he turned his head away and looked away from the two of them toward the city. Anything to distract himself.
It took a bit for the man to simmer down and attempt to explain himself to the man before them. But, he didn't seem very pleased at the whole display. "Sabin, calm yourself a bit..." He added, knowing that he did truly plan to tell Locke. Locke would most certainly find the whole display just as funny. "Please keep this from Locke.... He'll tell Celes and Terra..... even Relm." He flinched a bit at the thought. The idea of the women finding out and never letting him live it down was worse than anything.
That's when the womanly man spoke up, obviously offended by the laughter. Especially with the younger man's comments. Edgar sighed again and took a step forward, pushing Sabin back a bit in the process. "Excuse him... he can be rather brutish and a insensitive at times....." He started before the duel was proposed and Edgar sighed again, practically facepalming and turning away from the two. "...Gods, this won't end well for this city..." He mumbled as he moved to get out of the way. With the grip that guy had on him, this was going to be quite a tussel and Sabin was not one to back down from a challenge.
The King had backed away a few steps before turning to face the group again. "Is there any other more diplomatic way to settle this?"

The small man in front of him saw absolutely no humor in the situation, and, if he knew Edgar like Sabin did, Sabin thought he should have been on the ground with laughter as he had. Everyone knew that one day Edgar would get himself into trouble with all the whoring around he'd done. However, it wasn't Edgar that the young chap seemed to be peeved with.
"Hahahaha...wait...are you serious?"
Did this guy really just challenge Sabin to a duel? The bear of a man was pretty sure one of his arms weighed more than this guy. Sabin would most definitely have to let this guy know what he was in for. He had the brute strength to lift objects that weighted hundreds of times more than he did, and this guy was a toothpick with legs.
"Listen, I'm not sure that's a good idea. These muscles aren't just for show ya know."
The young man gestured for Sabin to follow, and he did, but he knew engaging this man in combat was an awful idea. He would end up breaking his neck with a single blow. He didn't want that on his conscience. He'd made a point to use his strength to help people, not hurt them, and that's what was going to happen. Duncan didn't train him to be a killer, so he would have to fight this guy at his weakest. He wouldn't use a single Blitz against him, because any one of those would probably leave this guy splattered against the wall.
To prove his point, Sabin focused his strength and threw his fist into the concrete below. Just a simple punch, but the concrete slab beneath their feet shattered under the might of his fist. He was careful to pull his punch, or there was a chance that he'd have broken a lot more than that.
"Edgar...he's serious isn't he? Listen, I don't want to do this..."
Oh boy...this was an awful idea.

| Sabin’s concerned protests and Edgar’s pleas were met in kind with a stoic silence, The Dark Knight’s head craned in their direction, his stormy eyes had a cold edge to them – the picturesque depiction of defiance. His flaxen brows arched upward as he’d witness Sabin’s fist plunge through the concrete, the residual force shattering the slab like glass. Strangely enough, the sheer magnitude of Sabin’s strength didn’t deter him, no, if anything it’d excited him – this man was a worthy opponent. In the past, Dieter had thrown himself into conflict with reckless abandon, dutifully suppressing the fear that that threatened to overtake him. Somewhere along the line, the Dark Knight began to find an eerie calm while in the thrall of battle – it was the closest thing he knew to a home. He inhaled deeply through his nostrils, calming his nerves as he’d climbed into the make-shift ring. He’d twisted his blade with uncharacteristic grace and plunged the tip of it into the ground. His hands overlapped one another, resting atop the pummel of his blade. His stormy eyes settled upon Edgar, his lips curved upwards into a genuine smile. His eyes fluttered shut for a split instance, his mind momentarily going blank as he’d brushed aside any perfidious thoughts. Once Sabin stepped within the ring, someone pressed a button on a tablet-like device and a translucent barrier encompassed the area. This barrier served two purposes, it’d protected the spectators from possible harm, not to mention it dampened the sound so as to not draw the attention of local authorities.
“Since I issued the challenge, I will let your pick the terms of victory…… I assure your brother that the City will be fine…”
Dieter informed his opponent calmly, awaiting his response.

Edgar was not a fan of this fight at all. It was not going to end well for anyone. But, his pleas and attempts to change the circumstances fell on deaf ears. Sometimes he wondered why he even bothered. The only place where his opinion seemed to matter was when he was in his own kingdom and it was actually governing related. The king shook his head at the entire exchange as Sabin decided to destroy a chunk of concrete. "Sabin...." He practically facepalmed. All his brother was going to do was make this happen even more. Someone was going to get their butt beat and he wasn't quite sure whom yet. That guy had a really tough grip. "I believe that sentiment is a bit late, Sabin..." He expressed.
It wasn't long before they stopped at an odd area. It was almost like a little fighting ring as if the town knew that people liked to fight things out instead of talking. It was rather strange. As Sabin stepped inside, the barrier went up with a promise from the effeminate male. Though, calling Dieter effeminate was a bit of an animadversion. Edgar was a bit effeminate in appearance as well, not that Edgar would ever admit to it. "...Good, because I would like to study the city still before the buildings are brought down and we are not welcomed back. Sabin, I don't know why you always have to get yourself into so much trouble. I know you haven't used your manners in a while, but it might be worth a bit of practice to dust them off." Edgar was a bit frustrated at this whole ordeal. He wanted to resolve this so he could get the directions to the library as he'd originally intended.

It was well past the point of no return. It seemed as if Sabin was going to have to have a sparring match with the lovely young man. How on earth did his small show of strength not intimidate the hell out of him? Dieter left the terms of the battle up to Sabin, which was excellent. Now, he could make the fight itself a very simple affair; therefore, he wouldn't be able to hurt this kid badly.
Sabin saw a small barrier erect itself around him, and breathed a quick sigh of relief. He was certain no one else would be harmed in the making of this exhibition. He would be able to flex his muscles a little bit more because of this, but he still wanted to make sure he kept this guy safe. If Sabin had to take a guess, he'd say this Dieter character hadn't seen but a fight or two in his life. If he had, he wouldn't be quite so enthusiastic about stepping into the ring with Sabin, a man who was littered with scars from previous fights.
"Well, let's make this simple: first one to land a blow wins."
With that, Sabin shot a worried look at his brother. He was waiting for Edgar to help him talk this young man out of doing something stupid like challenging the top disciple of a renowned martial artist to a duel. Just as Duncan taught him, he bowed courteously before he was to begin. He then assumed his stance by widening his feet and bending his knees slightly. He was ready to push off and begin this exhibition match.
"Edgar...you might want to back up."
The bear looked at his opponent, waiting for him to strike first. He wasn't about to make this young one give up all hope by beating him down from the get go. He had plenty of abilities that could easily catch this one off guard and put him on his rear end before he could even raise his blade, but that didn't seem fair to him. He would at least let this guy get in a few swings before he ended it.
"Whenever your ready I guess..."

| Sabin's proposed terms for victory were concise, a fact which baffled the Dark Knight. Truthfully, he hadn’t anticipated Sabin, a martial artist, to opt to settle their refute with a singular blow – he’d half expected a drawn-out brawl. His brows arched upwards, uncertain of how to interpret the worried look Sabin had given his brother. However, those thoughts were brushed aside as Dieter prepared himself for the bout. The petite Knight rotated his shoulders a couple of times in an effort to relax the taunt muscles that lined his back. He’d paused in his ministrations when Sabin bowed before him, straightening his posture before he’d mimicked his opponent’s actions – Ivalican Knights normally only bowed before Royalty and the lords they’d sworn fealty to. For a moment, he’d observed Sabin as the martial artist adjusted his stance, widening his feet and bending his knees ever so slightly – poised like a tiger ready to pounce.
Dieter reached behind his back, his petite hand coiling around the hilt of his cumbersome blade. With minimal effort, Dieter unsheathed it from its’ makeshift holster and placed it to the very tip rested upon the arena floor. His hands came together and rested upon the hilt of his blade, his head dipping downwards a fraction of inch as he’d offered a prayer. If Sabin strained to listen, he could faintly make out what Dieter was murmuring to himself.
“Oh Ye Spirit housed within thy blade awaken, grant me thy boon, Masamune” Once the last word left his lips, one could notice that a pentagram had formed on the ground. The newfound addition to their battlefield pulsated, each time releasing distinguished burst of burgundy light. Strangely enough, the light after it’d been fired out drifting back toward Dieter before it’d melded with him. Once the light faded, Dieter’s perception of the world around him had changed – everything surrounding him seemed to move in slow motion due to the effects of Haste . His leg muscles tensed before he’d lunged towards Sabin. However, it was never his intention to go in for a direct strike – doing so against a Monk was borderline suicidal. No, instead once he was perhaps ten feet away, he’d begun to chant to himself again.
“Oh Ye Spirit housed within thy blade awaken, show thineself specters of the battlefield, Ame-no-Murakumo”
Dieter’s blade pulsated a deep shade of azure before, a banshee’s howl echoing within the arena as a trio were willed into existence. The trio of spectral maiden were clad in tattered robes, their nails overgrown and their faces devoid of features. Without a singular word from Dieter, they’d surged forward, encircling Sabin while they’d lashed out wildly with their claws. If only one of them managed to land a hit, it’d be considered his victory. However, even if they’d missed if their curse settled upon Sabin, it would provide him with a momentary advantage.

"Sabin..." Edgar repeated, his hand still over his face. The king had shut his eyes and shook his head for a few moments. This just seemed to get worse and worse. Why did Sabin have to ruin everything and turn everything into a contest. It tended to get a bit ridiculous at times. This was certainly not the first nor the last. All the man could do was step back as instructed and wait for the results. "You will certainly be the death of me if Terra does not get to me first..." the royal responded as he took a few steps away from the battle, pacing a bit as he did so. Why did this have to happen. All he had done was flirt with the person who was sure was a lovely woman. Then Sabin's manners got in the way and he's offended the offworlder. Now this.
Hopefully this would be quick.
Edgar folded his arms and simply watched. Dieter had called upon his sword and began to advance towards his brother. It was rather interesting, the sort of magic that the effeminate man used. It was unlike anything he had ever seen before. It was fascinating. Was he liked Relm? Born with such magic? It was certainly intriguing. If things ended amicably, then maybe he could learn the origin of his magic.
That's when he noted that Sabin had been inflicted with Slow. "....does that count as a blow?" The king questioned with a tilt of his head, arms folded. Even if not, his twin was slower now. It would give the knight a chance to get in another attack before Sabin would be able to react. It was impressive. He used such tactic to gain the upper hand. Sabin was far more accustomed to hand to hand combats, face to face. It would be interesting to see his brother's response.

The small skirmish had begun. Before Sabin could act the young warrior had cast some kind of spell. A glyph appeared on the ground below him, radiating some kind of light. Sabin kept his eyes focused on the warrior, he had noticed the spell's intentions almost immediately. He caught the slight trembling and quick breathing that associated itself with a Haste spell. He'd fought plenty of creatures before that had been able to increase their own movements like this, and, although it was a different sort of spell, the effect was the same.
Sabin's eyes narrowed, waiting for the opportunity to strike, but as Sabin launched himself forward, something else happened, three small claws escaped from the glow of the soldier's blade. Sabin thrust his fist forward, well short of his opponent, but as he did, several gusts of wind escaped his fist, turning into bladed projectiles. It was a weaker attack of Sabin's but one that should catch his opponent off guard well enough to end this battle before it got ugly. However, two out the three claws is all that had managed to be blasted with his Blitz technique. The other dug its way into Sabin's right bicep, securing Dieter's victory.
"Well, I guess that's that."
Sabin wasn't sure if his attack had hit or not, but he knew he had lowered his guard enough to let himself be struck by one of the dark knight's attacks. Sabin arose to his feet and turned toward Edgar. He let out a hearty laugh signaling that he was just fine after taking that small technique. This was a perfect conclusion. Sabin didn't need to hit this young knight with anything but the force of wind off of his fist, and, even if it had missed, Sabin had taken the blow of Dieter's to end the fight anyway.
"So, should we see what kind of sights this Eos has, brother?"

| Dieter’s lackluster verdant eyes narrowed as Sabin’s fist rocketed forward, uncertain of the beastly monk was addressing the issue of encroaching specters or retaliating. The answer to his inquiry came when the first of his three spectres had been struck down, an invisible blade cleaving her phantasmal form in half – to which she responded with one final deathly wail. What was that? The Dark Knight wondered, his attention raptly turning from Sabin to his own conjurations. His eyes widened in realization as he’d caught a momentary glimpse of Sabin’s compressed wind blades as it’d dismissed the second specter.
However, that was where the Dark Knight’s luck ended, he’d only caught a glimpse due to the fact the undulating wind cleaved and tore apart the specter. In response to the newfound information, Dieter shifted his grip upon his blade as he’d brought it diagonally across his body, seamlessly shifting from an offensive strategy to a defensive one. Alas, he’d been just a few seconds too late, while his repositioned sword took the brunt of the Sabin’s blow, the wind wasn’t like a tangible blade. No, it had a bit of give to it so as it’d impacted, a portion of the blade curved inwards, its’ scything wind bit into the flesh of his shoulder.
It drew forth a visible crimson line, a pained groan spilt from between Dieter’s lips. However, the bleeding staunched quickly enough due to the seamless combination of Haste and Regen , their effects synergistically compounding upon one another. Of course, while it treated his injury, it did little to abate the sensation of pain that lingered in its’ wake. His strength is enviable , The Dark Knight admitted to himself as he’d lowered his blade. A quick practiced roll of his wrist returned his blade to its’ makeshift sheath. He’d closed the distance between Sabin, Edgar and himself.
“How did you manage to strike me from afar? Also, perhaps I can show you around”
Dieter inquired, his tone suggesting that he was genuinely interested in how Sabin had managed to generate enough force to compress the wind into corporal blades.
