Forsaken by light, and rejected by darkness. I walk a lonely road.
Consumed by the Sorrow of the Past, I shall use it to forge mjyself into a weapon! Repliku was not in a good mood. Of course there were many contributing factors to his bad mood at present. One was the itchy and scratchy fabric of the Dark Suit that Repliku could not replace at present. Due to lack of munny, and also protection against the dangers of the Corridors of Darkness, Repliku had to stick with the accursed dark suit for now. It was hideous, he knew that much. Thus, he had another item added to his already massive to do list, to to take care of.
So far he had new clothes - he'd probably have to take them from somewhere in the castle. Repliku hated that Corridors of Darkness were not working, and he could not summon Soul Eater. This was something he had never experienced. It warranted research on the part of Repliku - quite a lot of research in fact on the subject.
As he trekked through the castle hall ways, Repliku grew more and more incensed. Why could this castle not have signs, or maps pointing out where the vault was? Repliku was in serious need of a lot of munny for himself. MADE BY VEL OF GS

King Mickey was in his study, his wide toon eyes lingering on the dwindling crackle of fire that draped small billowing tendrils on glowing ash. His gloved hand held firm an ink pen but the paper beneath it had little to speak of. His need to archive was the excuse he was using to avoid visiting with the Sage King and Kickey knew it was a poor one. It was just that seeing a dear friend like that so unexpectedly after making peace with their death and in such a hollowed state. It was hard. Harder than wielding the keyblade. Harder than magical mastery.
The sound of footsteps caught the Mouses' blinky attention and he frowned on confusion. For a moment he thought that maybe he'd heard Pluto goofing around but as always Pluto was happily curled up in his lavish pet bed snoozing away. Minnie wasn't in that night either. She'd gone with Daisy to secure some resources for Daisy's boutique. It was late and no subject should have been wandering the castle halls. Another set of footsteps...
One of Pluto's black ears rose up and he loosed a low protective growl. Mickey blinked at the door then turned to command his trusty pet. "C'mon Pluto." he promoted the dog who lifted up into action immediately and followed along Mickey's side as he was hopping of his chair. The two of them moved quiet and carefully out of the study and Pluto on the trail of some scent had his nose to the ground. A bit bewildered, Mickey followed silently behind Pluto.

Forsaken by light, and rejected by darkness. I walk a lonely road.
Consumed by the Sorrow of the Past, I shall use it to forge mjyself into a weapon! The clone continued his path through the castle getting lost several times. Irritated at the discovery of the place needing maps severely, Repliku made a mental note that when he could afford it, Repliku was definitely installing maps, or signs that pointed to various locations in this place. Being lost was most certainly not something that the Replica found fun, to say the least about it. Even less fun was the fact that no matter how many times he tried to summon it, Soul Eater would not appear in this castle for him to wield.
"Oh come on!" groaned Repliku as he attempted summoning Soul Eater as he neared the vault. The Cornerstone of Light's energy blocked the weapon from appearing. It was also stopping him from opening a Corridor of Darkness. "How are they able to block the Corridors of Darkness in this castle? It's something I'll need to research, so I can stop Larxene's plans, with a prison she cannot easily escape from."

In any other time, perhaps it would have been wise for Mickey to leave his footmen and castle guard in employment but with the rather festive atmosphere radiating from the town, Mickey just wasn't cold enough to stop his court from enjoying themselves at one of the biggest festivals Disney Town had ever seen. It was good to keep hearts swelling with light and happiness. It was the sort of concept that forged artifacts like the cornerstone and manifested a will to stand against the dark...but admittedly in this chaos his Majesty's choice to have a heart and encourage fun might have been a flawed decision. The uncanny ability to have faith in the best outcomes could sometimes be a real weakness for the King Mouse.
His trusty companion was staying a little too far ahead, a round bulb of a nose skittering along some unseen trail on the ground that Pluto was trailing. The yellow canine was too often disappearing around hallway corners and Mickey could only sprint so quietly. Pluto skidded to a halt, both ears up and teeth baring. They were close. Mickey knew at this point there would be no stopping his pet from going after the intruder so Mickey quickly pulled from his pack a squeaky bone and he threw it at Pluto's feet. The dog momentarily distracted crouched and took the bone into his mouth only to disappear from the hall in a flash of light.
Mickey surged forward toward the bone toy crouching to swipe it up before racing down the next corner. He was getting dangerously close to the armory and the vault. This was also the way to the gummi dock. What the stranger was actually after could have been any of those things. Whoever they were, they'd bypassed the throne room which meant they either weren't after the cornerstone or weren't privy in where to find it. The king mouse's eyes narrowed when he caught a shadow descending the next corridor. His right gloved hand summoned forth the shimmering kingdom key as he skidded into that corridor pointing his blade toward the intruder. "You there! Halt!" as high and squeaky as his voice was it still rang with authority and even surprising presence.

Forsaken by light, and rejected by darkness. I walk a lonely road.
Consumed by the Sorrow of the Past, I shall use it to forge mjyself into a weapon! Being threatened by individuals who possessed keyblades was getting old, and was getting old fast. First had been Kairi, and she admittedly had a valid reason to threaten him with the keyblade. Of course he had survived that encounter - it was a good thing to. Before that he had to battle against Larxene, and that was something he didn't want to think about all that much, to be honest. Right now though he had to focus on the task at hand. Dealing with the individual who had the strangely colored version of Sora's keyblade pointed at him.
And unfortunately he did not possess the combat abilities needed in order to protect himself. Since he did not possess the combat abilities needed to win he had to humor the king of the castle. Sighing as he halted, Repliku looked at him for a moment. Really he wished he was strong enough with his abilities to manifest his sword in the castle. Thus, a new blade that didn't require darkness was in order at his earliest opportunity.
"Very well. For now I will halt, though I do have a schedule to keep," said Repliku. For now he had to play by the rules of the king and obey his orders. It was only a temporary problem, a problem he could fix if he played his cards right. MADE BY VEL OF GS

A schedule to keep? Castle thieves were on a schedule? Mickey's eyes widened as he beheld the sight of Riku, his close friend once more adorning the emblem of the Heartless, and his face twisted in that way that only one who has surrendered to the darkness could be. In that moment that Mickey was watching him, the king's stance had slackened. He looked like he was seeing a ghost, but he quickly readjusted, the chain on the Key's handle clinking with the subtle movement.
"Who are you?" Mickey demanded. See, his majesty had years of experience with cast illusions, folk's wearin the faces of other folks. Mickey knew Riku and he knew him well. Riku didn't talk to Mickey like this and if he had come to his castle once again slave to the dark, skulking around would not be part of the schedule he kept.
"This is my home and my responsibility. I'm not too concerned with your schedule, I'm afraid. I'll hafta ask ya to leave now." the King would give anyone the chance to make the right choice.

5/6/2018 Outfit ## Truly he didn't want to raid the castle of King Mickey. But since it was that or allow Larxene to use Namine for whatever they had planned, Repliku chose the prior option. There was no way anyone was messing with Namine like they had in Castle Oblivion. However, he could not afford to fight the king right now because he was not powerful enough. Another thing was that he did need to discover how Corridors of Darkness were inhibited in this place. If he could find out how they had pulled that off, and weaponize it he could perhaps trap Larxene somewhere for a while, buying him time to get to the level of strength that hhe needed to get to.
"My name is Repliku. " On the one hand he really did not want to exit the castle because it would put him at a disadvantage when he encountered Larxene. Without a game changer he could not hope to be able to survive against her. It was something that irritated the replica to no end. Repliku frowned, and then asked King Mickey. "So tell me, your Majesty. If your friends were in danger, would you not do anything it took to save them, even if it meant trying to raid a castle for supplies, so you could prepare for a fight you know you are highly likely to lose at present?" asked Repliku, to King Mickey. "Which of course means that I cannot accept your offer to leave. Larxene is alive, and well, which means she will likely go after Namine at some point, if past experiences are anything to go by. And I'm afraid I truly cannot allow such to happen again."
"Plus with how your castle seems to inhibit the weapon I normally wield, and the method of Transportation I normally use, I have to investigate that, of course. Honestly, I hate this dark suit I have to wear to use Corridors of Darkness. However, since my earlier attempt to get myself the one other outfit that could endure it did not succeed..." tag ✿ EDEL as✿

As the imposter implied that even his majesty might go to such lengths if it meant helping friends that were in danger Mickey's eyes widened, his big round ears pulling backward a bit at the audacity! He continued on noting that Namine happened to be the friend he was concerned about. As Namine was one of his own friends Mickey couldn't help but be concerned as well. The imposter Riku continued on about his distaste for his suit and Mickey shook his head refusing to get distracted.
"Listen, you! I would do everything it took t'help my friends, and that includes what they stand for! That means doin what's right no matter how dark things look. I would ask for help from someone before I would truly steal from them. Namine is a friend of mine and I know for certain that she wouldn't want her rescuer to steal from a friend! Now where is she? I'll get her and bring her here. She'll be safe." he promised and Mickey meant it, there wasn't a safer place in all the worlds than Disney Castle especially with it's king home to defend it.
"As for you, I will ask ya once more to leave. I don't have anything that will be of help t'ya here." Mickey pointed his keyblade forward in warning. It was not often the king had reason to threaten someone but he had a really bad feeling about this imposter.

5/6/2018 Outfit ## "IF I knew where Namine was, I would have already warned her about the fact Larxene is alive, and likely going to do something involving her, if Larxene's and Marluxia's scheme before I was destroyed originally was anything to go by," growled Repliku as he looked at King Mickey. "Believe it or not, you've helped more than you realize. I don't know what element you have in your castle that stops my preferred form of travel. However, shackles of it should IN theory be able to stop the same thing. Which in turn means slowing down Larxene, and her associates, whoever they may be other than Marluxia will be a lot easier than I initially thought. I am glad she has someone like you as her friend, your Majesty. I'll be going now."
The replica had hoped he could do this cleanly, but it was clear that he could not. As he was now he could not hope to. Fighting the king was not part of his schedule that he had to stick to. Assuming of course he could find a way to stop Larxene and Marluxia's plan if it did involve Namine, at all. At least now he would have one more person in the mission to protect Namine. And with her protected by someone more powerful than him, perhaps he could enjoy a bit of a break from obsessing about that. Honestly he felt a warmth in his chest when King Mickey called Namine a friend. However, he did not like it when he was chastised by the king for his plan to attempt to raid the castle for the supplies he needed, at present. Of course if Larxene hadn't nearly fried him a while ago, and he had succeeded at getting the Black Coat he wouldn't need the other supplies, in order to make travel that he used less scary to civilians, or others that encountered the Replica.
A decision was made by the Replica that he was going to mentally calculate how far he had to run from the castle in order to open Corridors of Darkness so that he could escape from this place. Repliku looked at him. "Please protect Namine as I'm unable to, at present," With that he'd start to dash away at his maximum speed. Until he could relearn how to fight, Repliku was finished going around and carrying out parts of his plans. Exploring the various worlds, and generally doing things he wanted took his first priority. Thus he could not logically stick around the castle when the King did not want him around.
Once he was far enough away from the castle, through the sewers, Repliku opened a Corridor. Going through it he made his way out of that world. There was work to be done after all, and it was not going to be fun for him yet. While he may not have stolen any physical goods he had learned information, valuable information. Now, if he returned to this world he knew a place he could trap Larxene if he could manage to do so, that she wouldn't easily escape from assuming the guards of the place were competent.

Larxene? Mickey knew that name. One of the Organization he would imagine given the ‘X’ in the name…but he wasn’t sure he’d ever had any personal run ins with that one. Marluxia’s name was more familiar, his name written all over Jiminy’s journal and Riku’s reports…but Marluxia and Larxene were she involved with those plans of the past were gone weren’t they? Faded like many of the Nobodies. All of this did confirm what Mickey already knew in his heart. This was not Riku he was talking to.
This imposter’s goal was an admirable one though, even if his ways of going about achieving it were based on entirely poor judgement. Even as the imposter digressed, Mickey remained steadfast in his stance, ready to defend himself and his home at a moment’s notice. The imposter continued and in the boy’s voice Mickey found his heart swelling for a moment. The way he said those words: “I’m am glad she has someone like you as her friend, your majesty…” It was so like Riku to speak in such a tone. There was such sincereness behind it. Mickey was still frowning but not it was more in confusion than anything. He lowered his keyblade and it disappeared from his hand.
The imposter turned to him for a moment and requested that Mickey protect Namine as for the moment this imposter did not have the means to. Mickey gave a curt nod. He’d have to find her. That mean leaving home again. The Queen would understand. She was much better at protecting the castle than he was. Her magic was still pure, that of a mouse that has never even graced the dark realm. The imposter was gone. Mickey was alone in his awakeness in the long halls of his castle once more. With a soft sigh to himself he headed back to his study to work on a letter.
